The given case study is about the problem that the company Gradability is facing due to
any error in their assessment of the students papers which were submitted in the dedicated
Moodle but did not receive any grades. This caused the delay in the reports of the students as the
grades did not get to the RTO manager, however, the Moodle is showing that the assignments
have been submitted by the students and also graded by respective trainers. The below report
emphasizes on this case scenario and investigates the probable cause for it.

The given case study describes the problem in the Moodle due to which the RTO
manager cannot obtain the grades of the students who have submitted their assignments in the
Moodle and also they have been graded by the respective trainers. In order to investigate the case
of Gradability, various technical and sociological aspects must be considered (Chard, Tuecke and
Foster 2014). The key stakeholders in the given case scenario is the students, the operations
manager, the help desk support and the academic administrator. The system in the company is
designed in such a way that the grades will be automatically updated to the RTO Manager in
every 24 hours. The method that is used for this data migration is the SFTP (Secure File Transfer
Protocol). The fact that the RTO manager did not receive any grades of the students can be
related to the loss of data factor or the intervention of any third person into the system. The
technical reason related to this factor is that the Moodle is automatically updated and thus lack of
training among the employees of the company may be one of the factors affecting it. The SFTP
have certain authentication methods for the login purpose of the administrators and the students

operating standards so that they might have a clear about the operation of the Moodle. The data
that are handled in the Moodle can be made secure by updating the Moodle passwords and the
SSH keywords.
