Research is conducted on this topic because multinational company is operating at
international level so there is change in structure of company. Hence with conducting this
research, researcher is able to understand hierarchical structure of multi national company.
There are some challenges which company while running business at international level.
Hence it is clear how to make strategies which is relevant for getting positive outcome. Apart
from this researcher has special interest in studying about corporate structure of large and big
organisations.

The concept of globalisation
As per the view point of Hanson and et. al., 2016 globalisation is defined as the process
through which two nations interact and integrate several factors like politics, economy,
business and culture by reducing the barriers among them. This in turn also support in
increasing and improving the flow of business among nations that support in improving the
operations, productivity and level of profitability that an organisation gains. This is because it
provide several benefits such as expansion of market, customer base enhancement, access to
new technologies, easy availability of expertise for improving operational quality etc.
The role of globalisation in improving the organisational productivity of Amazon
As per the view point of Kalmuk and Acar, 2015, globalisation plays a crucial role within the
growth as well as success of an organisation by improving its productivity as it help in getting
easy access to technology, manpower, new market, expertise etc. Globalisation supported
Amazon to a large extend in improving its business productivity as by entering into new
country, it get access to high skilled employees that support in improving the logistics,
research & development and customer support services. This supported in improving the

business practices of Amazon as it help in increasing the trust of customer by providing high
quality services.
Relationship between global expansion and business success of Amazon
According to the view point of Pedersen, Gwozdz and Hvass, 2018, global expansion support
an organisation to gain several advantage as well as opportunities that are present at
international level which support in improving the business practices and further leads to
organisational success. The global expansion of Amazon support it in getting excess to larger
number of customer base and knowledge regarding the strategies used by competitors. In
addition to this globalisation also support Amazon in getting access to expertise knowledge as
well as advanced technology which in turn support it in improving its quality of services.
These all factors support in increasing the brand recognition and loyalty among people which
in turn increase its customer base and it become able to gain success.

Research methodology is define as that section of investigation which deeply describe about
the number of tools and techniques that can be used by researcher to perform investigation
effectively. The tools and technique that will be used in this investigation is mentioned
below:-
Type of investigation:- It is very essential for investigator to select effective type of resaerch

so that data can be collected in more reliable manner. There are basically two typr of
investigation qualitative and quantitative. In this qualitative method gather the information
using theoretical framework to represent information in detailed manner. On other side
quantitative information is one which provide statistical facts or figure over particular
problem. This investigation is based on qualitative type of investigation for presenting reliable
information in detailed manner.
Research approach:- There are basically two type of approaches that are used in particular
investigation such as deductive and inductive. The deductive approach is one which uses
quantitative data in order to create new theories based on statistical facts. On other side
inductive approach is one that uses existing theories or model for performing analysis to
prove hypothesis right or wrong. This investigation is based on inductive approach as it uses
qualitative type of investigation.
Data collection tools:- Within an investigation there are basically two type of data collection
tools used that are primary and secondary. The primary data collection tools are one that help
in gathering information which is new and freshly available. It is collected from sources like
survey, interview, questionnaire, focus group etc. The secondary data is one in which
information is gathered from data which is already published from sources like article,
journals etc. In this investigation both method will be used in which primary data gathered
through questionnaire and secondary data will be gathered using literature review.
Data sampling:- It is a process of choosing a group to perform survey that represent whole
population. There are two methods of sampling such as probabilistic and non-probabilistic. In
this investigation random sampling method will be used under non-probabilistic approach to
collect information from 40 respondents.
