Running Head: ReportIntroductionThe case study of statistical program demonstrates the unethical behavior of the employees of theorganization and managers. The case study involves the discussion between the Jean and her manager. Jean is the statistical database programmer who is working on the software development program for the company. The work assigned to her is complex in nature and she wants the time to complete that project. On the other hand, the manager puts a lot of pressure on her to complete the task in a few days and submit it to him. The pressure put by her manager results in the unethical behavior of the Jeans. Jean use the wrong techniques and various codes of the other projects because of the pressure of the manager. Moreover, Jean also makes use of the software packages of the other companies for their own personal uses and hide it from the management team, which is an unethical in nature. However, jean submits the project to her manager by hiding all the facts of the statistical programs [ CITATION Bow06 \l 1033 ]. Situation analysisMoving further, it is observed that the Jean and manager, both are behaving not in an ethical manner. Jean use the ways and steps which are unethical in nature and the reason of using these ways is the pressure from the manager. The manager also not understanding the nature of work. The pressure from the manager forced the employees in the organization to adopt the unethical approaches that lowers the productivity of the employees. It is also analyzed that the quality of the project decreases because of the immediate requirement of the project by the manager. Jean 2

It is observed that the organization is not following the ethical norms in a proper way and these unethical activities in the organization affects the company as well as the performance of the employees [ CITATION SGi05 \l 1033 ]. There are no code of ethics standards are followed by the organizations and the employees in the organization are left with the options of using the wrong ways in order to complete the projects. The situation created by the manager for their employees leads to a huge loss because of the low quality and high cost of the projects.The doing ethics technique, stands for the role played by the people in the organization. In the case study, there are two main roles, the manager and the employee, who performed unethically in the organization. It is being noted that the manager should not force the employee for the project submission without knowing the complexity of the task. Also, the employees should not perform the wrong activities in order to submit the project. As a result the role played by the bothperson are unethical. The management of the organization is the most essential element on whichthe company’s growth depends. The Management should check all the activities of the employees to avoid these problematic activities done by the workers [ CITATION CIM15 \l 1033 ]. Talking about the ethical issues, then the manager assigned the project of the software development to Jean for the growth and enhancement of the organization. Now, Jean has the duty to perform in such a way that the project implementation, in the end, leads to make profits to the company. Whereas, Jean performed opposite to the expectations of the organization as she used the other company’s projects for their own project work and also hide this important 3
