INTRODUCTION Leader can be simply defined as a person who used to provide guideline to theirfollowers so that they work on right path for achieving predetermined goals (Mathews,Fornaciari and Rubens, 2012). The present report is based on case study of 'Leading Change'.The current project is proving the suitability of Herman Boone as a leader. Apart from this,some other leadership figure is also going to highlighted who can play similar role for continuingits development. TASK Q 4 Is Coach Boone the right person to lead the team in the future? Are there otherleadership figures who would be more effective in continuing its development? Answer 1:This has been observed that Titans Football team were facing various kinds ofchallenges. These are interior and exterior racial tensions, pressure level of peers, sabotageand collusion. In order to eliminate such obstructors, an assistant coach was being employed.Their work is to motivate group members so that they can attain victory effectively. It is to benoted that participants must have to forget differences between their racism and should playedtogether as a good team. Herman Boone was appointed as first leader (Carlson, 2012). He wasfollowing dedicative leadership style. According to him, each and every player has tounderstand culture and traditions of one another. He was having so many qualities includingfluent communication skills, confident, problem solver, etc. Boone had a real vision i.e. how tosucceed with a team. Apart from this, he was thinking about the process of building a powerfulteam having courageous and determinant contestants. On the other hand, he was alsoimplementing transactional leadership quality. If some students were doing some mistake whichindirectly or directly impacts on the performance of whole party. He used to give punishment tothose players who are found guilty (Gaffney, 2017). This in turn offers him ability to dominateentire group via his power. This help a lot in making team committed and working hard at alltime frame. On the basis of his punishing policy, he had brought a good standard within footballmatch. These all evidences shows his attribute of being devoted to work. Boone desired to have a powerful team and win. For attaining this goal he was ensuringthat each and every participants work in integration by respecting one's another feelings. Thiswould create an optimistic environment which is bringing contestants together by seeking theirattention. At the same time, he knew that players had unbounded loved for football game and1
