Choose an organisation & why The organisation chosen here is Tesco PLC. Tesco PLC was founded by Jack Cohan whowas a former Royal Air Force pilot, in 1929. Reason behind choosing this organisation is thatonce being an market leader in retail sector, now this company is loosing its hold in market dueto ethical issues undergoing in firm. 2. Overview ethical issues at Tesco PLCThe Tesco PLC has underwent through many issues which have affected the workconditions as well as economy of the company. Some of the issues which have affected theproductivity of the company.The ethical issues affecting the Tesco PLC are:Diversity issue:As Tesco PLC is a very widely spread retail sector firm, it includes the workforce from variouscultural backgrounds. This difference in the cultural background & diversity will have a negativeissue over the functioning of the company as it will cause unwanted tension & sense ofcompetition among the employees ( Yerramilli and et.al., 2017). Also it may lead to some social& economical discrimination & disturbance among the work force which can lead to an adverseeffect on company's brand image, goodwill & work environment. Besides also it can also leadsthe company to fell in a legal issue. Apart from that, the trade unions working & the governingbodies will also raise question on the working conditions at Tesco PLC.
