INTRODUCTION
This report is based on nine readings to prepare a case study on each of them. So, these
articles are to be reviewed considering the purpose, the analysed and collected data and the
procedures or techniques used in the studies. So, the report consists of the review of all the nine
articles covering all the basic aspects.
Review of articles
Topic 1 Comparison between ERP’s second Wave and Value Realisation (Accenture)
According to Deliotte consulting, the purpose of the article is to analyse the benefits and
competitive advantages of the ERP that an organisation may have to face. On the basis of the
data collected, problems and actions as well as for coping with it, specified expectations have
been taken. It has also been analysed that the implementation of the ERP system does not only
mean that it can bring various benefits to company. There is the possibility of these factors
arising after the second wave. In the study, 10 objectives were achieved regarding the second
wave of ERP. Some very important objectives and findings were considered as the fact that there
are various strategic and tactical advantages that the ERP system can provide. Also, one can have
an unexpected rate of benefits by the means of ERP. Anticipating a dip on a temporarily basis is
another factor that needs to be ensured while measuring the overall performance. In each single
wave, there are probably three stages which involve synthesising, stable and synergize. Also,
another factor that has been observed is that these systems also help in having a better decision
making process. By excluding the external factors that are not required, it can help in increasing
the overall speed as well. There have been various questions that raised during it as well. But it
has been analysed that there are various benefits associated with it. In the 1990, there was a
growth consider with implement ERP system. Companies expected Benchmarking Deloitte
Second Wave Survey consists with in-depth interviews with more than 164 individuals.
Furthermore, In the research shows that Journey divided into various Wave.
As compare to this, it can be stated that shortage of ERP is related with skills which
consider recent development phenomena. In 1999, one associate find that ERP skills shortly

As results, effectiveness also continuously develop towards effective results. Increasing same
prospects and process assists to make strategic alliance with ERP system. Vendor are also
benefitted with gaining high success in the system so that it enhance marketability and lowering
cost with supplying skilled members. However curriculum developed by universities could be
classified in more than 4 approaches such as ERP training, ERP via business process,
information system approaches, ERP concepts, Hybrid etc.
As per the view of Zach, Munkvold and Olsen, (2014) Second Wave ERP, relates with
relevant of current ERP curriculum to industry requirement. This system establish in the mid

Topic 2. Comparison between seddon (2007) and Eden and Sedera (2017) the largest admitted
IT
In respect to consider ERP system with potential delivery of unprecedented, it can be stated
that business organisation able to deliver results in systematic manner to attain more effective
growth. ERP implementation well known element that is full of challenge and generate benefits
with despite huge investment with ERP implementation. Extensive range of studies shows that
organisational factors implement change management with consider more effective results and
outcomes. There is learning and innovation which implemented in ERP system o that change
management and organisational learning between seddon (2007) and Eden and Sedera consider.
The Queensland government consist predominantly three types of organisation such as agencies,
department, Govt Corporation and general statutory bodies. All these perspective help to
implement systematic work performances with respective ministry. Project is mainly implement
to make standardise financial system at workplace which assists to mandated for all types of
government department. Therefore specialise unit of government create proper results which
make responsible system with users and fulfilled different teams. There are mainly three systems
implemented such as Queensland, CorpTech and IBM. In the first term includes end users of the
system, define business requirement and train staff. Furthermore, owner of SAP system make
solution with overseas entire implementation across all Queensland and manage prime
contractor.
Entire implementation includes AUD which allocated with SSI across all government
department. Prior to it, justice also needed in finance so that testing documentation being
approved with minimum customisation. However, in other context, IBM began with make
changes in scope so that business requirements ultimately resulted with time and cost overruns.
Payroll and user acceptance which resultant to perform several functions and operations.
Functionalists of the system also make effective system to make proper concentration with
standardisation solution. In order to perform testing, it can be stated that structure make system
to follow all rules and regulations (Shatat, 2015). Therefore, completion of the solution projected
in 18 months behind schedule so that it would be develop roles and responsibilities ownership
with three key stakeholders. Group also develop creativity so that complexity also reduced

successfully systems also need to make large IS implementation that derived from systematic
results and attain more creative work performances in the business process. It assists to make
imperative adopting organisation so that clearly adopting to focus on utilise appropriate use of
activities in it. On the basis of effective system, it can be stated that reengineering system also
develop successfully. As per Peter (2002), actual purpose of the study is to analyse the failures
associated with “go live” factors of the implementations of the packaged software. A huge
amount of cost has also been used in order to release some specified solutions to the problems
that the people were facing initially as well as after that. The systems involved were acting
effective sufficient in making the whole processing smooth and easy enough. After the analysis
has been made, it was observed that the actual cause of the issue was a poor management of the
project and also, there was lack of governance as well. Also, along with these, there was an issue
of less engagement of the users as well. So, at the end, it was successful enough in analysing the
factors that led to failure of the operations.
According to Rebekah (2014), the actual purpose of the study is to analyse the biggest failure of
the project in the southern hemisphere and its causes. Therefore, a major focus will be kept on
the way in which a sort of governance and monitoring can be provided to project. Along with
this, policy issues associated with the information systems have been analysed as well. The three
types of organisations have been included in the study and on that basis, issues have been
analysed. There were a variety of issues and the ones that actually lead to the failure of the
project. According to David (2013), the actual purpose of the study is to understand and evaluate
the challenges of the business value that throws an impact on the overall rate of operations and
processing. SAP programs have been successfully implemented because they have involved in
the approach of a formal way because it helps in realising the actual return on particular
investment. There can still be seen as a sort of significance in the operations of value
management. So, for each business area, some specified key concerns of the value management
have been associated such as for inventory organisation, purchasing, information systems, etc.
