C.E.1. 4. 0:ORGANIZATION:This project was conducted in Engineering Specialist Ship/FPSO Engineering Department. Other organizations for the project include Det Norsek VeritasGermanisher Lloyd (DNV GL), American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), Indian Register ofShipping (IRS). I have efficaciously done and completed my Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering with myprojects perfectly done during this time. I as well did several mechanical engineering projects, some of these projects I undertook at my college includes;1.Hydrodynamic analysis for Deep construction vessel. 2.Spectral fatigue analysis for FPSO.3. The technical proposal, budgeting for FPSO and Semi-submersible. 4.Reassessment of structural scantlings of an FPSO for life extension. The above projects which I perfectly did I my college are further illustrated in the below sections. Afterundertaking the above projects, I am convinced that I am a very competent, knowledgeable and skillfulprofessional with more than 14 years of experience in working with a variety of marine, offshoreand naval vessels. I worked in various firms such as American Bureau of Shipping, Det NorsekVeritas Germanisher Lloyd, Indian Register of Shipping and having extensive knowledge in ship

CDR FOR MECHANICAL ENGINEERS 5structural engineering and necessary statutory requirements. As a mechanical engineer with 15years experienced is capable of undertaking the structural design, ventilation and the review ofthe offshore and marine structure. I also acquired the experience in doing the local and globalstrength analysis. I am also very capable to undertake other mechanical engineering related tomy profession. C. E 2. 0. 0: BACKGROUND C.E 2. 1 0: NATUREOF PROJECT: This project is based on technical skills and expertise inthe field of marine engineering. The project basically deals with some sub-projects like areassessment of structural scantlings of an FPSO for life extension, spectral fatigue analysis forFPSO, Hydrodynamic analysis for Deep construction vessel and technical proposal, budgetingfor FPSO and Semi-submersible.C.E 2. 2: 0: OBJECTIVE:To become a successful professional by continuous enhancementof technical skills and utilization of knowledge and expertise in the field of marine engineeringand become a responsible Engineer capable of independently handling design review andproviding better solutions to the client for qualitative practices.C.E 2. 3. 0: NATUREOFMY WORKAREA: I was given the task to undertake a project whichbasically deals with shipbuilding and the marine structures. This project basically requires a testingin a water body environment to check for the balancing of the forces as well as the structuralanalysis of the ship which can hence be conceptualized into the actual ship. Therefore my workas a mechanical engineer is basically dealing with the marine shipbuilding basically entails doingthe structural analysis. I had to engineer deliverables of project, trainand spreadleanfundamentals andbehave as a controller of all the project I did while I was in the college.
