CE 1.2.1 Characteristics of the project
Telecommunication refers to the proper transmission of sounds, messages, signals and
signs or even information by any type of system like electromagnetic, optical, radio and
wires. A proper exchange of information between communication participation is possible
with telecommunication. While working in Huawei, I got an opportunity to complete a
project, called Final Detailed Engineering Design. Huawei is a Chinese company providing
solutions across four key domain, Telecom networks, IT, smart devices and cloud services.
More than 180,000 employees are working in 170 countries in several branches around the
world. STC or Saudi Telecom Company has awarded Huawei for its installation and
operation 3G (UMTS) MSC (Mobile Switching Centres) and Media gateways in Jeddah,
Makkah and Riyadh. In this project, I have considered every existing requirement and I also
proposed a turnkey GSM E7 PO2 expansion project that involved VMSC and the expansion
of 8 YMSC. Therefore, within this project document of FDED, I have successfully and
efficiently defined the work, which was done in the entire installation process of GSM3.

CE 1.2.2 Objectives developed for the project
While executing this project of FDED, I have proposed a turnkey GSM E7 PO2
expansion project for providing major advantages to the telecommunication world. Hence,
for completing this project in Huawei with high efficiency and accuracy, I have developed
few objectives:
To efficiently propose a turnkey GSM E7 PO2 expansion project after involving 4
new VMSC and expansion of 8 TMSC.
To complete the project work with the subsequent integration to the present core
network system of Saudi Telecom Company.
To propose a design of the MSC GSM3 network for completion of E7 project for
engineering designing, dimensioning and configuration of GSM3.
To consider the work in the completed in installation process of GSM3 after taking
into account the implementation program, Bill of Quantity and Engineering and
Designing.
To consider the dimensioning basic parameters of 60% value of prepaid subscriber
and 40% value of SMS subscriber.
To complete the hardware and software architectures of MSOFTX3000.
CE 1.2.3 My area of work
As, while completing these works in the project, I comprised of subsequent
experiences in the field works about telecommunication project, I was recruited as the core
network implementation engineer. Previously, I have done works with various subsequent
areas such as installation designing, telecom network as well as signalling and hence it was
extremely easy for me for executing the specified project promptly and efficiently. I also had
significant leadership skills as well as problem solving skill, thus I was chosen by my
respective supervisor for completing this work eventually.
