To encourage a child's effort or achievement, what are 5
examples of effective praise?
To encourage a child’s effort I would always appreciate by
using praise such as Wonderful, super good, nice job done,
excellent, amazing.

Describe active listening. why is active listening important?
Describe passive listening.
Active listening is when the communication is made interactive.
It is a way in which the listener is also asked to participate.
Active listening is important as it helps the listener to get to
understand the objective of the session.
Passive Listening is listening and allowing someone to speak,
without input of any activity.
Question 3
describe some of the ways that you might use to encourage a
student to talk about their likes and dislikes.
To interact with a boy or girl i would offer something to eat or
drink and then starting the conversation to understand his like
and dislikes.

When is it appropriate to disclose information a child has given
you to others?
When i am confident to handle the situation. Or it is of grave
danger.

Should students be informed that you intend to pass this
information on to others?
Yes this will build trust between us. We should not lie.

Define the term self-determination in your own words.
To work hard and to achieve the goal. To be working towards to
the goal until and unless it is achieved. Self determination is
taught to us by our teacher.

What is cultural awareness? Describe in the space below.
To respect people of all culture and be responsive to the right
duty towards other’s culture. There are people of different caste
and creed who live together and study together. It’s our duty to
respect their mindset and culture and participate together in
festive or functions.

In what ways could you encourage students to participate?
It’s about knowing of others language, culture and living. By
organising debates, or some competition we can encourage.

How could you check that your communication and interactions
with culturally diverse students, staff and families are
appropriate?

When i get positive attitude from them. If they never complain It
means that I m doing good and i will continue my work inbound
with school rules and regulations.

A: How can you seek feedback from colleagues and others to
check if your actions and communications are culturally
competent?
In reference to scenario :
B.Give some examples of inclusive work practices that could be used in
a school environment.
A. I would ask them directly about my behaviour if all is ok. I would make
sure that my actions are not hurting anyone emotions. I will teach my
class to respect all the culture.
B. By conversation and two way communication. Be of open mind and
not discriminating anyone on any basis.

traditions, values etc are represented.
- How can you encourage students and colleagues to recognize and
value diversity in this situation?
In reference to scenario 1-
I would teach the students to not comment or bully anyone. By
organising debates and class activities for everyone to participate. And
also by talking to everyone whenever it is possible. Indulging in to sports.
- Give some examples of inclusive work practices that could be used in a
school environment.
By organising group art competition or cultural programmes and
organising debates every week for improving the knowledge about
different culture.

Schools have information that is sensitive in nature and as a result, they
need to protect the information they hold from misuse, loss or
unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. They need to maintain
information in a confidential and secure manner.
There are a number of ways that information can be protected. For
paper-based and electronic files, name 3 ways for each that can be
used to keep these files secure and confidential.
Paper based: write 3 ways:
1. Keeping the important papers locked in the cabinet.
2. By never keeping nay paper loose on the table.
3. Not authorising everyone the access of the papers.
Electronic:
1. Password protected folder.
2. Not giving access to everyone.
3. Not mixing un-related documents.
Question 10
How do you ensure that passwords are used effectively to protect
sensitive information?
To be giving access to the folder only to trusted person or responsible
authority.
