INTRODUCTION
The current market plan is based on Holiday Inn Hotel which is a profound hotel of UK
with branches across the world. The current project is focused on the Holiday Inn Express
London branch which is a well-known 3-star hotel that is providing facility of contemporary
rooms with breakfast services and venue offering bar and business centre along with other
related hotel services (Chung, 2020). The geographical area which has been served under current
business plan comprises of various location of UK with main focus and emphasis on London
Location to ensures improved business performance of Holiday Inn UK. The purpose of current
marketing plan is to ensure higher sales and profitability for Holiday Inn within UK through
attracting larger number of customers (Meier, 2021). The current market plan is being prepared
for the employees, customers and other stakeholders of Holiday Inn Hotel to provide information
about its main strategies and planning for improved success and performance in UK.
Marketing mix of Hotel Holiday inn
Marketing mix is an integration of mainly four Ps that are product, price, place, promotion.
Use of marketing mix is made by the managers of Holiday Inn to have formation of more
strategic and effective business strategy which are provided and discussed as below:
Product- It is considered as a core aspect of market mix without it no hotel will sustain
within market and attracts customers. As Holiday Inn provides several types of services
and products to their guest that are guest rooms, banqueting rooms, recreational facilities,
health and wellness facilities, travel desk, parking facilities, business centre, express
check inns and check outs, executive lounge etc (Gonzalez, Gasco and Llopis, 2019)
.
Price- It is related to the price that a hotel charges for their services from customers. In
context of Holiday Inn Company adopts the competitive based pricing to sell their
services to customers. It is an effective aspect that maximize hotel market share and helps
in sustaining for a longer period of time (Turban, Pollard and Wood, 2021). The pricing
of Holiday inn Express London branch comprises of entire price of the stay, plus taxes,
fees, and a $100 per day ($250 maximum) deposit for security deposit & incidental
purchases which seemed to be much competitive as compared with the rates of other
competitors like Hilton that charge a Price starting at $317 per night (Graziano, 2021).
