INTRODUCTION
Logistics management refers to the process of supply chain which make strategy, change,
manage as well as control the raw material in an effective and efficient manner to store their
goods in warehouse as this helps them to collect the data regarding the starting and consumption
in order to satisfy the needs and demands of end users (Chase, Shankar and Jacobs, 2018).
However, supply chain management is defined to circulate the products or services as it assist
them to convert inventory into final goods. Bentley Motors Limited is considered in this report.
This is a British automotive industry which is established in Crewe, England, United Kingdom.
This is founded by H.M. Bentley and W.O. Bentley Motors and founded in year 1919. This
reports covers operational and supply chain issues is to manage and analyse the operations
functions in order to serve their market. Use of manufacturing process or delivery system and
how they manage and analysis of different components.
MAIN BODY
The supply chain of Bentley Motors as they manufacture and sell their products and
services by effective and efficient manner. This organisation has decline 30% when they handle
their materials. Selected company in their Volkswagen Group merge all enterprise material
suppliers and its components. The key issue of supply chain is to assure them to engage with
customers which face the challenges related to changes and implementation of Information
Technology and increase in costs which impacts their performance of their business. It identify
and analyse the operation functions which includes the manufacturing as well as to produce
products or services which help them to acquire funds, transform input into output and then
finally they distribute them to ultimate users. Thus, this help management to serve the market in
an appropriate manner (Chauhan and Singh, 2019). The operation functions of supply chain
management in manufacturing as well as in service sectors as it include many functions such as
material management, distribution, forecasting of demand in order to fulfil the requirement of
customers in the marketplace. In context to Bentley Motors, management plan the policies and
structure in order to transfer their goods from their suppliers to ultimate users. The distribution of
supply chain management is defined as the procedure of observing the movement of products
from distributor till the goods are reached to the final consumer. It is the process by which the
activities which involves raw material, storehouse, logistics as well as supply chain.
