Early childhood is the most important phase of development in a person's life which
affect their educational achievement, health and social-well being. The children need to be given
equal opportunities so that they can utilize their capabilities to the fullest which can help in
expanding their horizon of success so that they can grow and develop both personally and
professionally. Development of children is important for a country as they shape the future of
country by utilizing their potential which helps in the growth and prosperity of the country.
However, in many communities children face the problem of gender inequality which leads to
the poor development of women of the society as they are denied access to equal nutrition,
education and health related benefits. These factors create an impact on their mental and physical
health making their decision-making power poor and affecting their overall growth. The issues of
inequality faced in the early childhood thus needs to be tackled by providing all the children with
equal education, health benefits and access to other facilities which encourage their overall
development. An early childhood setting needs to be implemented at schools so that their
education process can be enhanced and they can become good learners which will help in
fulfilling their social, mental, physical and cognitive needs and ensure their well-being (Wade
and Zaringhalam, 2019).
It is important to gather knowledge regarding the legislations and official guidance so
that equality among children can be promoted and education in their early childhood years can
be given by following ethical practices. This will help in shaping the future of the country as
economical growth of the country can be brought if the children are mentally stable, socially fit
and physically sound and active. The inequality can be dealt within an efficient manner by
implementing equality transformative early childhood programming so that gender
discrimination can be reduced, equal rights can be promoted which will help in giving equal
opportunities to all the children which will help them in achieving their desired goals and aims in
life. This will also help in uplifting the standards of the family both economically and
educationally. It is thus important to give equal platforms to all the children irrespective to their
sex, religion, culture, colour, disability etc. so that they can survive in the environment with
dignity and can progress in their lives efficiently (Thomas, 2019). This also leads to the growth
of the economy of the country as new ventures can be opened, crimes can be reduced due to
increasing unemployment, innovation can be promoted etc.

There exists a wide scope by which legislation and official guidance can help in dealing
with inequality and promoting diversity so that the development of young children can be
enhanced which will contribute towards their well being and development. These legislations
when applied in schools can help in promotion of equal treatment of young students and will
protect their rights so that they can be given equal educational opportunities. Some of the
important legislations are discussed as follows:
Disability Act, 2005 : This act came into effect in the year 1995 and has been amended a
lot many times so that the inclusion of various aspects related to disability can be included which
will help in the growth and development of children. This act ensures that everyone in the
society are given equal opportunities and rights to use the public services and other facilities
which will help in promotion of equality among all. This act include disabilities related to
physical and mental impairment of children so that they are not discriminated based on these
factors. Also as this legislation is applicable on schools it help in providing equal access to
education to all the children and prevents them to be bullied and harassed within the school
premises. It also makes all the discriminatory activities illegal hence preventing the children
from being a prey to the injustice that could have been done due to their disability. This helps in
boosting their confidence and also contributes towards their survival along with getting equal
growth opportunities which help them live with dignity and pride in the society (Syed and
Ozbilgin, 2019).
Children Act, 2004 : This act was introduced in the year 1989 and was amended in 2004
after the inquiry into the death of Victoria Climbie. This act reinforces that people and
organisations that work with children must be completely responsible towards safeguarding
children and promoting their welfare which help in their overall development. According to this
act all the educational or non-educational institutions dealing with children needs to take care
about their safety and security so that they can remain healthy and can grow in a setting where
equal platforms are provided to children. This help the children to lead their lives in a disciplined
manner along with their respect and care towards the society. Equal education given to the
children can help in building harmony and an inclusive growth of all the youth of the society
which plays an important role in the development of country making it competitive in the global
context. Thus equality and diversity in the classroom help in educating different types of students
belonging to different families, backgrounds and experiences which also help in developing new

and innovative ideas. Inclusive education is a part of ethical practice which plays a crucial role in
inculcating cooperative and coordinated behaviour among all the students. The discrimination
based on gender, race, caste, disability can thus be reduced which helps in developing all the
youth of the country (Schachner, 2019).
EPSEN Act, 2004 : It is the special educational needs and disability act which helps in
identifying the children who have needs for special education so that they can be provided with
the required education by the institutes that deal in educating the people with disabilities. This
act help in uplifting the children by giving them right to education which helps in their inclusive
social development. This act helps in giving equal educational platforms to all the children of the
society irrespective of their disability and promotes equality in the society. This is an important
act as the families of children who suffer with physical or mental ailments can be given the
benefits and facilities of education. Also education plays an important role in building the
educational structure of the country and also supports it in becoming a strong nation as new and
prosperous ideas can be implemented which will help in building an advanced nation.
Children First Act, 2015 : This act is intended towards raising awareness regarding
child abuse and neglect so that the children of the society can be protected against abuse and
discriminatory behaviour which deteriorates their confidence and affects their overall
development. This act helps in preventing child abuse like child trafficking, child labour,
indulging children in illegal activities etc. This act helps in protecting and safeguarding the
children and improving their status in the society so that their potential is not misused and they
can be given with equal opportunities in the society to grow and develop. This act thus promotes
protection and welfare of children which is important for the society and also for the youth of the
country. Under this act anyone can report a child abuse which helps inn protecting the children
from any dangerous activities that are conducted against them. The neglected children can be
handed over to the social workers who can the take care of such children providing them with
equal opportunities to grow in the society (Nachmias, Aravopoulou and Caven, 2019).
Need of education of equality and diversity from early age : It is important that
everyone in the society are treated equally and equal rights are given to them so as to ensure their
growth and development in the society which helps them in contributing towards upliftment of
the country. Equality helps in shaping the mind set of children during their educational years so
that they can feel safe and secure in the environment which is important to develop their positive

attitude and behaviour towards the society. It is the responsibility of parents and teachers to
inculcate in their children equal behaviour towards everyone in the society which will help in
developing harmony among all and will also build their social well being.
Inequality as well as discrimination considered as a dangerous issue which is a challenge
for the destruction of the poverty level. This influences on the families, children's and staff
members at their working premises which will adversely impacts on the identity development. It
is essential to examine the influences as well as impacts on order to make a effective decisions to
reduce the adverse effect and achieve potential and productive results (Milner, Demilly and
Pochic, 2019).
Impact of inequality and discrimination on children's as mainly the gender inequality
impacts on the all persons because of at the stage of childhood a stereotypes creates about the
boys and girls, men and women which follow till the children's adulthood. This will negatively
impacts on the healthy growth and development of girls and boys as early childhood is most
important phase of the person's life development. Whereas, gender discrimination on the behalf
of son preference directly leads that young girls get low nutrition and opportunities as well as
access early learning rather than young boys. At a result of this, they are unable to behave
rationally because they grow up with the same feeling of inequality which hinders their self
interest. It has been viewed after research that after facing inequality and discrimination at home,
schools and many places it influenced the thinking of individual's. Through the unequal
opportunities and preferences children's highly affects which results in reducing their
productivity as well as mental ability. This will results in missing the opportunity of getting
talented, healthy or open minded persons. Unequal and discrimination creates the revolution
which leads the terrorism and effect the individual, country as well as entire country. In order to
minimise the impacts of inequality and discrimination the organisations required to adopts legal
rules and obligations in order to gain and secure the self interest of people (Mahlangu, 2019).
Impact of inequality and discrimination on family, decomposition of joint family into
nuclear family creates inequalities at a great extent on several level such as their varied abilities,
potentiality to get skills, talent, intellectual level, health and mental conditions, educational
background as well as care and income group. Reasons behind the income discrimination can
attributed differences in education which could be the opportunity while educate and the
intellectual concern of all individual's. If persons live in a society then they should be viewed

that all individual's would be healthier as well as happier along with the low level of income
differentials. As the income gap of individual's creates dissatisfaction with respects of society,
political parties as well as government which would results in increasing crime rate and murders
in a country. The high level of discrimination in families results in breaking the bondings of
members as well as they not considers each other's interests while working in a society or family
and destroy the relationship by not trusting on each other (Kang and Kaplan, 2019).
Impact of inequality as well as discrimination on the staff members, it plays a major role
within an organisation while employees treated partially and biasses that can be results in the
failure of businesses. Basically workers are treated by gender inequality which not only influence
the performance of persons also impacts on the organisational performance economically. As
gender inequality termed as illegal at workplace because it has effect on male as well as female
workers and their relationships. There are several influences of inequality and discrimination at
working premises such are considered as follows:
Mental health of individual is highly effected by the gender discrimination at working
environment as they experience the harassment at workplace which results in increasing the
anxiety and depression conditions. As it is not only influenced the victims of this but also
impacts on the others regarding their morale, energy and so on and they all are highly exhausted
doe to the unequal treatment with colleagues or team members.
Job satisfaction of employees negatively impacted due to the gender discrimination at
workplace of organisation. If they are not treated equally then it decline the job satisfaction of all
members as well as they are unable to reach at the top level of jobs which results in the low
productivity and profitability of a company. So it is necessary for all businesses that facilitate
equal opportunities to all regarding the job so that they will stay or feel motivated and happy and
give more contribution towards the success of organisation (Jozwiak, 2019).
Inequality and discrimination at the workplace contributes towards the harassment that
will negatively influenced the culture effectiveness because of less attention towards the sexual
harassment problems. Victim have several issues and work with all that so they are unable to
contribute their best along with the fear of harassment which results in low productivity. So all
businesses needs to be take a step forward in order to resolve the issues and complaints of
individual's so that they work with no fear and helps in enhancing the productivity of both.

The inequality as well as discrimination at workplace results in developing bad or
negative reputation within the marketplace which may lead winding up of company. As gender
inequality as well as public allegations negatively influenced the image of company as well as it
takes more cost for recruiting and trained people. This will result in loosing self interest of
people towards the leading competitive position in the marketplace (Janssens and Steyaert,
2019).
It also leads in increasing the conflicts among workers at the working premise of an
organisation as it switch the job interest of people from duties to drama. As it reduces the level of
productivity and satisfaction level which have adverse sign for the competitiveness of business
within the competitive market place. Huge conflicts results in individual's performance and
potentiality which effects the entire organisational functions.
It is essential for all organisations to considered several practices and effective rules for
individual and businesses as well in order to get the workers engagement, enthusiasm,
motivation, satisfaction and so forth. This will lead towards the better growth and success of
company in the market and survival for a long period of time with the competitive advantages.
Gender gap is one of the most important and major space which is faced by individual
due to which they are led towards dissatisfaction among various aspects. Like, reduction in
sustainability, low productivity etc. Due to which the work performed by women is low as
compare to men. To see the major gap work performing areas are monitored that demonstrate a
clear gap among the work of men and women (Gallaher and Evans-Galea, 2019). This
determines that it clearly represent woman and man both are employed at low skilled jobs which
is categorised as percentage of men and women that occupy their space according to the required
skills to complete their work in proper manner. Large number of pay gaps are easily measured
because the average earning consist of various reason such as experience in work field, pay
discrimination, industry of work and many more. Due to respective gap dissatisfaction among
employee's will be more monitored that determines sense of work in potential customers such as
conveyancing power of employee's to sale organisational products. So to reach at the equality
basis firstly it is recognise the major reason that is reason of employee's gaps and inequality. In
the present scenario situation arise in organisation is that women are not able to provide best
efforts in their work. After analysing all the aspects, it is mandatory to evaluate the reason which
impacts on performance of men and women that are engage at same level. This helps that this is

easy to recognise and to take steps that is the result of dissatisfaction among them. After
evaluating of all aspects we analysis the actual justification that enhances performance of men
and women. This is also stated both men and women will perform their work as per performance
review and merit based due to which men or women are able to perform work and get rewards to
get outstanding result. In case of women if women get lower status jobs then they get low paid
jobs but with hard work it is easy for them to enhance their career growth with proper
satisfaction level. According to this series the first work of us is to set the objectives and goals
according to the average performance of man and woman. This results it is easy for men or
women to achieve better outcomes that are related with performance of individual due to which
it is also easy to get high paid jobs. Along with this the set targets leads workers to analyse the
actual gap between pay expectation and the actual results. Therefore, employee's are able to get
better remuneration against their work performance. Moreover, by utilising data that is available
in organisation leads management to reach at constant pay in right manner. This is the rule of
company to not share their salary with other members (Foster, 2019). With the responsibility of
generating awareness it is easy to promote results. In the last, with cross section methods it is
easy for company and employee's to work as a whole brainstorming that is used to make crucial
decisions of organisation. Further, by getting the support of majority of people it is easy to
collect relevant and large information that is related with experience, remuneration and the
targets that are given by management to men and women. After analysing the objectives it is
monitored that now women are actually giving better results to gain effective outcomes. So it is
said that this is seen that to gain better productivity and motivation among employee's there are
some important roles for individual are decided that leads management to become more
competitive in market. Moreover, with the respective efforts it is seen that the level of
confidence and work performance is increased through which work is performed to complete the
task in right direction. Therefore, the main goal to react at equal pay individuals put their best
efforts to complete their work in positive way.
In the last, by the above report it is seen and concluded that diversity as well as equality
both play an essential role in the life of individual. As it leads them to behave with in a ethical
way by providing proper education to the small children's from early stage of age. This results it
is easy for individual and children to develop positive mindset, perception and actions. Along
with this it is also mandatory to build better law that ensures to formulate better law which is

used to ensure right of individual and helps them to complete the work with best outcomes. In
the last, the reflective section of the report states about inequality and pay due to which required
information is collected by organisation and members to gain desirable outcomes from their
