CHANGE MANAGEMENT1
Implementation methods-
Setting clear and well-structured priorities is the very first step before implementing
the change. Next comes collecting and analysing the data. Key performance indicators would
be developed which could be measured and monitored on an ongoing basis. A continuous
meeting shall be ensured about every small progress regarding the change. Keeping a
continuous communication with the management and the employees would be ensured. These
meetings shall consider the strengths, weaknesses, threats and the opportunities of the change
for the company. This would help in determining whether the soundness of the strategy is in
light of the changes within the company.
Implementation activities-
The implementation activities are divided into the below mentioned activities:
Activity 1: Seeking management support. Change management plan is to be proposed in front
of the management of the company. It should be communicated to the CEO, COO, CFO,
CPO and the Operation Head of the Flipkart.
Activity 2: Creating a case for the business model change. This case could come from
different sources including the results of the data that are collected on the defect rates, the
survey on employee satisfaction, customer satisfaction, customer comment cards and the
business goals.
Activity 3: Employee involvement: Change efforts need the involvement of employees to a
great extent. Any change in the organisation, whether small or large, is to be explained to the
employees.
Activity 4: Communicating the change: The change is to be communicated with the
employees in structured and systematic way.
