Executive Summary
The objective of the paper is to analyze the change management and communication strategy to
be implemented by JB Hi-Fi in dealing with its change situation taking place within the
organization. The report has focused on developing effective change management planning
process with effective strategic planning activities along with developing “future proofing” to
sustain the proposed change. It was gathered from the report that being a multinational company,
JB Hi-Fi will lead and manage the proposed change process that requires team of members those
will guide a coalition of people to lead change initiatives. The HR department of the company
will be responsible for ensuring effectiveness of the change that is taking place in the company.
The management of JB Hi-Fi needs to provide proper feedbacks as well as survey reports to the
staffs about the change for letting them engaged in the change process.

Introduction
JB Hi-Fi is an Australian organization that is involved in the retailing business of home
consumer products. The company is also involved in sale of consumer electronics services and
products software along with information technology and consultation services. The company
has more than 190 physical stores and offers several effective solutions like corporate,
government and education sales of services, products and insurance replacements (Jbhifi.com.au
2019). The organization is focusing on bringing in change in its present organizational setting in
order to attain growth of its business. Change management is a systematic approach in order to
deal with transformation of the companies. The objective of the paper is to analyze the change
management and communication strategy to be implemented by JB Hi-Fi in dealing with its
change situation taking place within the organization. The report will also focus on developing
effective change management planning process with effective strategic planning activities along
with developing “future proofing” to sustain the proposed change.
Organizational Change Situation and Development Aim
JB Hi-Fi is planning to develop an effective change management and communication
strategy in order to communicate a major change in the company direction. The change that will
take place in the company will involve certain changes in senior management. In such change
within the organizational structure additional staff will be inducted within the company
(Anderson 2016). The change that will take place in the organization will be focused on
changing the employee recruitment structural design. This will consider recruiting employees
with better skills for the new job positions in the company. It is assumed by the electronics
organization of Australia that impeding such employee based changes can result in disruption
