Determination of the organizational resources needed to implement and maintain the
change plan
When the technological resources are implemented within the healthcare system, it is
quite natural that there are several organisational resources that are needed for the
implementation of the change management plan (Brown et al., 2016). First and foremost the
organisation is targeting for the allocation of specific staff team that would maintain the
monitoring of the medication administration for prevention of further error through the
utilisation of technological systems. For this the primary input of organisational resources
required for this change implementation and management plan are the technical devices that
are brought about within the organisation through the utilisation of financial resources.
Identification of the stakeholders needed to support the implementation of the proposed
plan
For supporting the implementation plan of technological devices within the healthcare
institute to reduce the medical and medication errors there are the input of stakeholders that
are needed for the support of the implementation. The chief stakeholders of this
implementation plan are the IT forms and the community health centres that are responsible
for the funding and handling the technology (Schiff et al., 2015). The other stakeholders that
are included in this change implementation plan are the staff such as the computer has
physician order entry people, the people responsible for the barcode in medication
technology, the people in responsibility of the telemedicine software, the people in
responsibility of the electronic health record software and the people in responsibility of the
patient friendly health record software.

Importance of the stakeholders while implementing the change plan
While implementing the change plan all the stakeholders are extremely important to
take part in the change management process. This is because, while the legacy system was in
news the stakeholders had the opportunity of utilising the system in a certain way that would
be completely changed when the technological devices would be used for reducing the
medication errors for the patients (Castaneda et al., 2015). They need to understand the
change management plan and the benefits that it would bring about within the organisation
for the betterment of their services. In addition to that they need to adjust their skills and
potentials with respect to the implemented system which is new for them.
Impact this change plan will have on the organization and its stakeholders
The organisation is targeting the change management implementation today's
healthcare organisation for reducing the medication errors. It is assumed that the change
project in the healthcare administration would bring about the reduction of the medical errors
that raises the unpredictability in medical cost for the patients as well as the healthcare
organisation (Nanji et al., 2016). The susceptibility of the patient is increased due to this
which the healthcare organisation is trying to reduce to make sure that there is no negative
customer feedback. In addition to that the investment of the technological aid that is required
for installing the new technology is also helping the organisation gain financially and
technologically.
Steps of implementation
The first and foremost step for the implementation plan would be identification of the
communication plan of the stakeholders for funding the entire technology instalment along
with the delegation of the changes that are assumed to be projected to the staff.

Next, there would be a group discussion conducted for the staff to help them identify
the factors behind the medication errors and the need for the change implementation plan.
The staffs need to be educated for the changes and the training needed for the

Potential barriers to implementing the change plan and the steps for overcoming the
potential barriers
The potential barriers that could arise during this change implementation plan are as
follows:
 Understanding of the staff about the technological devices.
 Functioning of the technological devices during extreme pressure.
 Project implementation cost and the impact of it on the key stakeholders.
 Effective communication with the stakeholders depending on the funding of
the project.
