2CHANGE MANAGEMENT IN ORGANIZATIONS
Introduction
As discussed by Al-Haddad and Kotnour (2015), change management is considered to
be a collective term that is able to define different approaches required for the purpose of
preparing, supporting and helping teams, individuals and various organizations in the
implementation of organizational change. The drivers of change in the environment that have
an impact on the organizations are technological evolution, process reviews, changes in
consumer habits, pressure from the new entrants, mergers, acquisitions and the restructuring
of organizations (Alvesson & Sveningsson, 2015). Organizational change management
