The research title of this study is to address the role of change management practiced in e-
government transformation.
Literature review
Change management practice in e-government transformation
From years, there has been dissatisfaction among the major section of the society related to the
quality of service offered by the government. This dissatisfaction has actually outlined the
paradigm of administration from the past few years. As per this paradigm, the government has
needed to enhance the application of IT in order to bring excellence in their services.
Hence, the government has started reengineering of their working pattern in order to satisfy the
desires of their customers at global level (Melin & Wihlborg, 2018). It could also be effective for
providing a social shaping of IT support emerge electronic government transformation. This
strategy was formed to overcome the loophole within the public sector services, which a directly
impact on the economic structure.
Numerous governments are grabbing the opportunity to create a new pattern of government
working system, which could be associated with the informational phase. This revolution is
emerged from several powerful inspirations of the information rebellion. The ultimate unbiased
emerging of a new government structure of the organization is not only for efficiency and
efficacy but also for construction a novel modality of the administration (Norris & Reddick,
2013). This extensive journey could frame how the government's opinion country people and
trades, and structure a citizen-centric, service-focused and public are involved in the government.

Change in e-government mainly displays the required transformation of the Public sector in
terms of belief, work environment, arrangement and patterns of operating present businesses.
Presently, it is the basic requirement of the government operations that require huge amount of
cost as it directly affect to the high quality (Abdullah Al-Shehry, 2008).
It can also be stated that the growing demand for IT services have forced the present government
administration to introduce change in e-government applications.
the advancement in the latest policies related to the business has forced to bring e-government
into action. Also, there is one Myth in the business world, which is a change in e-government as
it is connected with technology advancement but it is not being connected with the
transformation inside the organization. Change transformation could offer an opportunity to
improve relation of government in terms of legal, technology, political and environmental
framework (Janja Nograsek, 2011). The main purpose of this transformation is to bring efficacy
and effectiveness in the e-government by identifying and eliminating those factors which were
responsible for lower down the speed of the business operations (Abbott-Halpin, 2017).
Objectives
The purpose of this report to find out change transformation in e-government in terms of
efficiency and effectiveness along with actions that have been taken by the various government
for their operational services advancement.
