Orphaned in the very tender age at childhood, Weylyn Gray stays with the animals in the
forest and got raised in the forest. In the novel, his character is explained with the perspective of
the charecters who have already encountered him. In a neutral view regarding the character, the
novel explains a charming and an appealing character allowing the readers of the novel to
acknowledge some of his supernatural gifts that are mysterious in nature. In the context of the
narration of the adventures ,the legend of the Weylyn, the author of the novel presented a very
different interpretation of him targeting to make his character more mystical and interesting.
Although being a powerful human being, Weylyn was basically a weak hearted once due
to he was not able to take up the courage towards the expression of his feelings for the girl he
desired, Mary. He generally placed an influence of him on every individual me met. This is
because the girl he loved also adored him back since Weylyn had helped her from a mad wolf on
her eleventh birthday.
In the novel, Big Fish, Edward Bloom who was the protagonist basically with none of the
super natural powers although he was basically an extra ordinary man with his self rights.
Illustrated from the flashback as told by his son, Willie the story reveled how Edward was an
adventurous man and did not liked to boast regarding his work. Being a travelling salesman,
Edward always love to travel since he was burdened with the responsibilities he had to do for his
family. He tended projected as a hero before his son and cracked jokes which were one of the fun
things he loved to do. Frustrated with his life, Edward did not live his life he desired and hence
projected his wanting in the form of story to his son what he mostly wants.
