This study conducts an internal analysis of Charter Communications, a telecommunications and mass media company in the United States. It includes a competency analysis for Charter and an analysis of its competitors. The study finds that Charter is strong in acquisitions, particularly with the acquisition of Time Warner, which has helped Charter attain a strong market position in New York City. However, Charter faces competition from AT&T, Comcast, Verizon, and Cox. The rising popularity of Sling TV is also a threat to Charter's wireless service.
