1.0. Introduction
The stakeholders play an important role in the development of the organisation. There are
two types of stakeholders that are being influenced by the action that is taken by the
organisation. The internal stakeholders are the primary employees, owners, managers and the
people those who are being involved with the organisation directly. On the other hand, the
external stakeholders are the one who influences the organisation not being directly
connected to the organisation (Shulha, Searle, Poth and Chalas 2019). The success of the
organisation has an impact on both the stakeholders. The introduction or failure of a product
will have an impact on both the external as well as internal stakeholders.
Abu Dhabi National Oil Company is an oil company that has been owned by the United
Arab Emirates (UAE). From the research of Al Mazrouei, Khalid, Davidson and Abdallah
(2019), it as been found that UAE is the world’s seventh-largest reserves for oil with 97.8
billion barrels. It is an industry based on oil and gas, which was founded in 1971 by Zayed
bin Sultan. One of the famous organisation that has been producing gases and natural oil with
a revenue of US$60 billion in the year 2014 (Ameen et al. 2018). Since then, it has been
working with 55,000 employees bringing in various changes that have been influencing the
stakeholders directly or indirectly.
The Chartered Institute Of Purchasing And Supply (CIPS) is an institute that looks after
the working of the professional based industries that has been dealing with oil and gases.
According to Cordell and Thompson (2019), the organisation has been following the rules of
CIPS in compression. Compression is a crucial function that will help in the development of
the oil industry that will meet the demands of the customers, increasing the revenue of the
organisation.
