1. Importance of following terms that support children’s play and learning
National Quality standards (NQF): It is a benchmark for the quality of Early Childhood
Education and Care in Australia whose main focus is on safety, health and wellbeing of a child.
Also, its main focus is on to attain the outcomes of a children by high quality educational
programs. Moreover, with the help of this standard, families are also understanding of what
differentiate about a quality service (Bidwell and et.al., 2020). Therefore, this document also
assist to determine different quality area related to children so that parents can make decision
accordingly. Through this, children will also understand about their key areas that need to be
overcome.
Education and Care services National Regulations 2011: It provides laws foundation for NQF
and provide the services that is related to children improvement. Here, regulations 77 to 89 are
specifically prescribe in order to ensure about health, safety and wellbeing of a children so that
children can be educated (Protopsaltis and Baum, 2019). Along with this, all the education centre
are also liable to provide effective health and hygiene practices so that children can be easily
manage within their education environment.
Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF): It is a national framework which is make in order to
ensure about the quality and consistency in delivery of early childhood education programs.
Along with thus, it also cover children from birth to five years child in order to support their
transition to formal schooling. Therefore, it can be stated that it provides the set of standards,
practices in order to guide early childhood workers with respect to education so that they can
improve the child learning (Adam, Barratt-Pugh and Haig, 2019). It also assist to the families in
term of providing greater individual care and attention for a children so that they provide better
support to the children’s learning. Therefore, it also provide a good rating system of education
and care services in order to improve the results.
United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child: It is a part of legally binding
international instruments for a guarantee that protect human rights. Thus, it protect the right of
all children in a world and that is why, education centres are provided effective services to their
students. Further, the aim of this framework is to recognize the rights of children so that they can
ensure about the growth and equality in the workplace (Tobin, 2019). In addition to this, it can
