Assessment Process for the Learner

Overall Assessment
Your learners are required to demonstrate competency for each unit within their chosen qualification.

1. Write a paragraph to define the term “Trauma”. S

completely devastate or beat the person’s ability to cope and integrate the emotion and ideas related to the that
experience.
2. Outline your understanding of complex trauma? S

It evaluates the both children’s exposure to several traumatic events, interpersonal nature and wide ranging for
the long term. This generally severe as well as pervasive such as profound neglect, abuse, harassment and so
on. Moreover it is also considered as cumulative, inter personally and repetitive generated as well as include
regular abuse that take place in respect of family as well as intimate relationship. The respective trauma take a
person to the risk of mental illness as well as complex post traumatic stress disorder which also impact on
physical health and development of psycho biological.
3. Explain how a person's sense of safety is affected as a result of the trauma that they
have experienced.

When a person experience any trauma related to an accident then they always have fear for that due to which
when they realize any similar situation they get trauma attack because they not feel safe at specific situation.
Moreover there are several other aspects which show case that person's sense of safety is impacted as a result
of trauma which they experienced such as if a nice person experience trauma then it is considered that all bad
things happen to the good people. In addition to this, it is also determined that when people a person experience
trauma then it may leads to depression which impact on person's senses. For example a person who experience
trauma related to domestic violence then their person's sense get impacted such as they feel fear, anxiety,
depression, nightmares or sleep disturbances and so on. In addition to this, there are several factors which show
how a person sense of safety is impacted when they experienced trauma such as these person not feel safe at
any place, their sense of safety has get threatened, overwhelming emotional distress as well as it also related to
fight, freeze submit and flight in the respond to threat to safety.

provide care and supports to meet the principles of trauma informed care.

the workplace.

understand by everyone.

Safety 1. Ensure the common areas are safe and proper which welcome people.
