Assessment-1
1) Sexual abuse includes different forms of sexual activities performed by individual person.
Sometimes, it is considered as criminal offence and also happened at anywhere. In this way, it
can be identified the signs of sexual abuse such as
Mood swings
Self-harm
Pains for no medical reason
Used the language or knowledge too advanced for the child's age
Violent and aggressive behavior
These are considered the most common sign of sexual abuse on the basis of behavior. In this
way, it become easier for identifying the specific symptoms that will change behavior of
children.
2) Non-invasive questions are those using as open-ended, not leading or pushy. Generally, it can
be used for purpose of questioning ensure that child will keep talking to other one. In this way, I
can use this question to interact with children and identifying their view point or opinion.
For Example:
What is your favorite place?
What is your favorite food?
Is that your toy?
These are open-ended questions for asked with children, great way to them talking and ensure
that they will keep talking with me. Generally, I could use this question for purpose of
interaction and provide benefits in the form of real communication. Initially, when I was started
to interact with young person and child but prepare some notes and then start talking in step by
step manner.
