1.5 Expenditure and income to show profit and loss for your own business
The home-based childcare business can get greater income and profitability because they
are earning well and this can also assist in enhancing market share and success aspects. The
home-based child care business is expected to earn around £ 5 billion per annum. Hence, it can
be said that income probabilities of childcare business is high; however a few expenses might
occur due to indifferent aspects (Danziger and et.al., 2016). Expenditure may affect the business
profitability up to some extent; hence for that contingency plans should be developed. It is an
apparent fact that business always experience several constraints and in order to manage such
constraints, entrepreneur must have to manage expenditure and income in the best possible
manner.
1.6 Sources of support and information for the setting up and running home based childcare
business
In order to develop a home based childcare business, it is crucial for the entrepreneur to
collect feasible and appropriate information about the market place so that business can be
conducted effectively. While setting up the business, it is imperative to collect information from
external and internal sources like as family members, friends and other relatives. Entities
surviving in the same area can also be considered at the time of collecting information about the
market scenario (De Vos-Kerkhof and et.al., 2016). Business can be operated successfully when
proper information about the market share and service potential is being collected. Besides this,
support is also required to be collected in terms of monetary and non-monetary support such as
availability of finance must be there. In this respect, family members and relatives can be
contacted so that they can assist in establishing the same childcare business. Further, if in case
partnership is essential, then all the respective partners must support each other in carrying out
the business effectively.
