Introduction of your centre?
The child care center provides various care services to the employees ensuring that they
feel safe and comfortable in the same. Apart from this, the center also provides different
care services for children who have working parents. And the health as well as safety
policies are taken care of at all times and this ensures that the overall pocess is carried
out in an effective manner. Healthy and carefully developed meals are offered to the
children at the center and there are different supervisors who take care that the children
are safe and that they feel comfortable. There are different rooms that are meant for
children belonging to different age groups so as to make the care delivery process
easier. The center is located within the main city so that it is easily accessible. Apart
from this, bus pickup and drop services are also offered for the children. The timings are
7.30 am to 6 pm.

How does the centre ensure children are safe when playing?
The center ensures that the children are safe when playing. There are different
supervisors who ensure that the children at not subject to any kind of risk while playing.
They also practice effective communication with the children as well as their team
members so as to ensure that the children are safe. Apart from this, it can be stated that
the children are supervised in an effective manner. Since the center has children
belonging to different age groups, the young children require more supervision. It is
ensured that for preschool children appropriate use of the indoor as well as outdoor
environment is done.

What happens if children become sick? How are they looked after?

If a child becomes sick at the center, they are taken care of very well. There is a child care provider present at
the care center every day and they provide immediate action for the situation. If the educator or the
supervisor considers that a child is unwell, they lay them in a quiet and cool place that is away from other
children. Apart from this, they take the child’s temperature and if there is fever, they remove the child’s
excess clothing and give them appropriate medication. The staff at the child care center is well trained and
they take appropriate care of the child to ensure that they feel well.
What is your roll in a fire drill/evacuation?
In case of a fire drill or evacuation, the educators in the child care center explain the drill
to the children in a simple manner. Next, their role is to pull the smoke detector or ring

the fire alarm in order to make others aware of the same. The educators have to keep
calm and ensure that al the children are made to exit the building in a calm and effective
manner to ensure that there is no rush or panic among the children. Their role also
involves ensuring that the children don’t run and follow their instructions carefully. Once
everyone is out of the building, the educators have to take attendance to make sure that
all the children are evacuated.
What does the centre know about anaphylaxis? What risk management strategies
are in place for anaphylaxis?
As already mentioned, the staff at the center is well trained in different aspects of child care and anaphylaxis
can be referred to as a medical condition with severe allergic reaction. It can occur within minutes or seconds
to when a person is exposed to something that they are allergic to. The different risk management strategies
for anaphylaxis for children involve avoiding using allergens in the food or meals that are prepared in the
center and keeping the same covered when outdoors.
