INTRODUCTION
Child labour is defined as the exploitation of the children through any form of work
which can deprive them of their childhood. It affects their ability to attend schools, mentally,
physically, socially and morally harmful to the children. In this project the importance of topic of
child labour and comparison of for and against banning of child labour in the supply chains will
also be explained.
MAIN BODY
Meaning of child labour
Child labour is the exploitation of the children through any form of work which has the
potential of depriving them of their childhood. Child labour effects the ability of the children
towards attending regular school, mentally, physically, socially and as result can be morally
harmful. Such exploitation to the children are prohibited by the worldwide legislation (Smit and
et.al., 2020). These laws do not consider the all the work done by the children some exceptions
are there in the field of child artists, family duties, supervised training and some other work
which are practised by the Amish and indigenous children.
Comparison in the favour and against of child labour in supply chain
The child labour has some arguments which are in the favour of the child labour and its
application in the supply chain.
Health issues:
The conditions of the children which are working is mentally and physically can be
vulnerable and be effective in general. This happens because of the lack of resources they might
have which can effect short and long term interests of the child labour. For such children who
lack the support they need have is considered to be the way in which the business.
Disturbing the supply chain :
For some children who have been working for some institutions are considered very
important for their role in the supply chain as the part of their daily job. It is hard to replace them
as they can be experts in their field and the business may have to incur higher expenses for
finding a replacement of these working children (Nayak and Manning, 2021).

Introduction
Child labour is one of the growing concern around the world which leads to depriving
children's from getting good eduction, fulfilling their potential. It is the process where are
children's are involved in the kind of work which mentally and physically harmful for them. This
report highlights growing number of child labour in the supply chain, also detailed discussion on
banning all kinds of child labour in the supply chain around the globe.
Main Body
More than 260 million children around the globe are involved in the labour of any kind
which is directly impacting their mental and physical health. Child labour is mainly described as
the work done by the children for which either they are too young or kind of work considered to
be not right for the children, involving children's in this form of work leads to directly
influencing their mental and physical health (Global supply chains major user of child labour,
2019). According to international labour organisation around 170 million children's are involved
in the child labour in supply chain making textiles and garments in order to make a living. Large
number of children's are seen working in the fashion industries, the fashion industries in
employing large number of children's in order to save their labour cost as children can be paid
less. The main reason that justifies the child labour is that huge poverty and poor financial
position of the families lead the children to work, as family thinks that a child's income can
provide them some resources to survive.
What circumstances child labour be beneficial to children
Allowing children to work is never a great option, but family are forced to send their
children's to work in order to survive in the extreme poverty. Large number of fashion industries
are employing children in order to work in the textile and garments production as children can be
cheap source of labour for them. Child labour is never beneficial for the children's in any
circumstances as lead to directly impacting their mental and physical health, but in case of server
poverty, situation has to work in order to survive the getting food/shelter aid, educational aid
through the government or businesses while they are working can helps them in their future
development (Dani, 2019). In addition to this offering supervision or social control mechanism

INTRODUCTION
The report have main aim for argument in child labour with their positive and negative
impact. As the child labour can also causes the economic growth stable and this might be not so
easier in making the socially and economic growth. Moreover, challenges and recommendation
for resolving the child labour issues.
MAIN BODY
Concepts of child labour
The word child labour can be defined as work that have been deprives children with their
childhood, dignity and potential along with the harmful towards their physical and mental
developments. This might be also referred for the mentally, physically, morally or socially.
Moreover, depriving them with the opportunities them for having schooling, obliging them for
living school or requiring them for attempting combine school just for attendance with having
exclusive long and heavily work (Child Labour: definition, 2018). It had been also seems that
58% of the child are working as child labour and many region have been involved where the risk
for child labour have been increased. While this also cause harm for future related to their child
as they only make work as priority. 17% in services and 12% in industrial sector and also victims
for having hazardous condition. Some of child work more than having their fixed work just for
having more money and that might be important for them.
Positive and negative of child labour in supply chain
Positive impact of the child labour in supply chain this could help the many countries,
families or parents for having their children reliable better sources of income. While this might
be lead at time of having the financial crisis. Along with this also keep the support for their
families in having more income sources. If children families are poor than they cannot pay for
the school fess, so for that the child labour take place (Sauer and Seuring, 2017). Moreover,
some children in developing countries often to help their families in their business for making
more reliable products and services. This have been said that, child labour is cheap, so if family
have sick members that might be children can bring out some of the better income sources. As
per the argument child labour that could lead for having hazardous and dangerous condition for
the child and that could also cause harm for their bodies. The child labour have been started from
