There are certain informal deviation such as
rejecting the common way of behavior in a
particular society.
There are certain formal deviance like
committing a murder or raping or lynching
someone.
Sometimes when a norm is broken the
action can be considered as not deviant
because does not necessarily break any
rules.
Cultures varies from society to society,
hence a kind of behavior that is considered
deviant in one society may not be
considered deviant In some other society.
Therefore all kinds of broken norms are not
deviant behavior.
Deviance is relative which means that it
differs from society to society.
The formal deviance which deals with
breaking the laws of a society is considered
to be deviant behavior, these rules are set by
the government and any one breaking it
would be considered deviant (Belmi et al.,
2018).
