DEVELOPMENT DOMAIN SKILLS THAT ARE ENHANCED
THROUGH MUSIC AND MOMENT
EXPERIENCES
SOCIAL EMOTIONAL Mutual understanding with other people
improves. Children learn the way to make
interaction with other people.
PHYSICAL Body moment and flexibility in body enhances.
Motor ability of child gets improved.
THINKING Logical and problem solving skills also
improve through music. It supports the child in
getting academic excellence. Cognitive and
logical reasoning skills of candidates get
improved as well.
LANGUAGE AND LITERACY New language is learn and pronunciation gets
improved.
Part B
Age group Music experiences for supporting children
development
Infant (Up to 12 month) Hold the baby close and singing songs for
them. Using names of babies while singing
songs.
Toddlers (12-24 months) Music parade can be organized in which
children can be allowed for playing music
instruments.
Older Toddlers (24-36) Music instruments will be given to Toddlers

and they will be asked for playing the same.
Part C
Age group Movement and dance experiences to support
children development
Infant (Up to 12 month) Babies will be helped for moving their bodies
while listening to music.
Toddlers (12-24 months) Children will be encouraged for moving their
body parts such as head and knees. Songs will
be selected that will support in making
coordination, balance and better understanding
of their body parts.
Older Toddlers (24-36) Creative movement experiences will be
introduced and children will be encouraged for
moving their body parts with the rhythm of
song.
Pre school Classroom dance area can be designed and
babies can be encouraged for moving their
body parts with the music beats.
Part D
Assessing the Scaffolding children play
Major components under children make believe play are as follows :-
Plan: - It explains about the children’s ability to think about play in advance.
Roles: - Different actions, languages and their expressions that are the part of play included in
the category of roles.
Props: - Objects with which children use to play are included in this category.

Extended: - Time frame is determined for the play session and if it is extended then duration for
that is enhanced.
Language: - Initiatives taken by child for developing a scenario is included in this category.
Scenario: - Various sequences of scripts and interaction between roles are determined.
Part E
Five stages of children make believe play
Major five stages are like:-
1- First scripts
2- Roles in action
3- Roles with rules and beginning scenario
4- Mature roles, planned scenarios and symbolic props
5- Dramatization, Multiple themes, Multiple roles and Director's play
Part B
Methods for finding individual’s unique interest and preferences :-
1- Reviews can be taken from the individuals for assessing and identifying their unique interest
and preferences.
2- Close monitoring of the person can be done for evaluating their unique interest and
preferences.
CASE STUDY 2
a)
Anna becomes angry and frustrated when other children knock down their black tower.
Suggestions: - Other children can be clearly instructed for not harming the black tower of Anna.
In addition to this, proper monitoring will be done for Anna so that other children will not be
allowed to touch Black tower of Anna.
