INTRODUCTION
Gemini Allen is 54 years old lady and is suffering from a and have a medical history of
hypertension and neck of femur surgery. Her condition is getting worse day by day. So, there is
decided by a healthcare professional to provide her holistic care also known as patient-centered
care. She gave a history of smoking and a weak immune system which leads to Chronic
obstructive pulmonary disease. She has provided patient-centered care and for this, two different
priorities need to be focus on during providing patient-centered care. The priority is to provide
the proper medication with recommended dose at right time and another one is proper
monitoring on regular basis. There is the use of Roper-Logan-Tierney’s model framework which
is associate with careful with focusing on basis of patient-centered care (Garout, (2018)).
MAIN BODY
Chronic Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease is a chronic inflammatory lungs diseases
which is able to cause obstructed airflow form lungs. This creates difficulty in breathing, cough
wheezing and mucus production. This caused by due to long term exposure of cigarette smoke.
For the better health of Gemini Allen, there are some of the priorities chosen for better delivery
of healthcare services to her. There is the priority is providing proper medication with proper
dose at the right time which should be there during person-centered care for her effective and
improved health during a respiratory infection. There is a need for proper medication which can
lead to provide better health effects and helps to improve the condition. Gemini Allen is an older
lady due to this, her treatment can take several weeks and for this, she needs to take better rest.
There is a need to avoid the risk factor which can create serious health issues for Gemini Allan.
When there is the use of the LNT framework and so the dependence during intervention it is by
providing proper medication at right time. This can lead to help Gemini Allen to get better
healthcare and helps to improve health by getting medication at night time.
The nurse should provide proper medication that is enrolled for patients and their need to
provide all the medication to Gemini Allen at the decided medication time. This medication with
proper dose can show pharmacological effect and helps to decrease the infection which creating
COPD. This medication can decrease the chance of worsening of this infection and provide some
improvement that can lead to improve respiratory function and avoid infection in the respiratory
system and help in healing (Wang, (2018)).
