The following is a job description with specification of a chief information officer required
for BigCompany Ltd.
Job Title : Chief Information Officer
Job Type: Full Time
Report to: Vice President/Board of Directors
Job summary: The person will be needed to lead BigCompany Limited information
technology division and their staff. Provide strategic and tactical planning,
coordinate the information extracted from the report and suggest proper
actions to be taken. As a leader, he also has to facilitate communication
among the staff, management, administration, vendors, and software
personnel’s. Take an overview of the back office computer operations,
MIS database related to the company, multiple information and
communication system’s coordination, including data mining , voice and
office automation. The develop user training programs. Supervising the IT
channel administration and system security and back up procedures.
Implement and evaluate IT operations and integrate the systems. Review
the process if necessary.

Chief Financial officer, Chief Marketing officer, Chief Operation Officer
and other Board of Directors
Qualification:  The person must be a bachelor’s degree holder in computer
science/IT management/
 Master’s in Business Administration, with specialisation in
information technology/IT infrastructure/IT operations/

Skills :  An advance understanding of the computer information system
and able to analyse as well as interpret any problem related to the
matter is required to be the main skill of the person.
 A proper motivator, analyse and resolve complex issues, logical
