INTRODUCTION
Civil law is defined as the body of rules and regulation which defines and protects the
rights of every individual who is living within the nation (Harding, 2019). The law which are
mainly covered under this civil law are contract law, law of trots, property law etc. While
discussing about the Criminal law it is defined as body of law which only deals with the issues
and problem of criminal activities. The issues which are mainly discussed under this law is
related with threatening other, murder and all those activities which create problem for the
society. The file is all about solving case studies which are related gambling, fraud and many
more.
MAIN BODY
Case Scenario 1
Rai and Cat both are the keen ice skaters where Cat won an ice-skating championship in
which both of them had taken the part. The result which was declared in the championship made
jealous to Rai. Now, both of them were going to take part in competition which is going to be
held in France. The total cost of the trip was near around £250 but Cat was unwell due to which
was unable to attain Skating club one night so she though that Rai can help her to deposit the
money before the deadline ends. It was found that Rai went to casino for gambling instead of
depositing it for the trip to France. The next day Cat started to feel better so she thought to call
Rai in her house were Rai tried to steal the trophy of Cat which she won in the championship.
Theft Act 1968
This is one of those act which describes that no one is allowed to use the property of
anybody without their permission and if it is found then legal action can be taken at any time by
the authorized body. Section 1 of the act defines about the definition of the act. When it comes to
section it relates with dishonesty whereas section 3 is all about appropriation. The section 4
