Task 1:
a) Project Identification:
There is a rapid development in many developing countries that has led in serious
problems of waste materials generation in construction industries (Ding et al., 2015). The
construction waste that are not manageable helps in creating negative influence on climate
change in environment, water as well as soil pollution increasing, ecological imbalance, and air
pollution. These construction waste also includes social as well as health problems. There is a
high influence of construction waste affecting the sustainability of the environment. There are
many systems that are adopted for managing the construction waste in the country.
The waste construction which are generated in construction industry are to be examined
by analysing the life cycle of the building process that includes planning, designing, as well as
procurement. This can be stated as managing the waste of construction includes implementation
of the elimination of the waste wherever it is possible and minimizing the waste where it is
feasible. Reusing of the materials are also included in the sustainability of waste material. The
management of waste in construction industries should implement the hierarchy of waste
management in the construction company.
The construction of waste management is considered as an essential aspect for designing
sustainable building as well as including practice of green building (Wu, Ann & Shen, 2017).
Government associated with the country should push the industries to involve waste management
strategies that are based on approach of life cycle. There should be an integration between the
approach of closed loop and in the principle involved in waste hierarchy.

The sustainable development included in establishment are being used worldwide rom
about 25 years and sustainable development is usually used as a measure that helps to imbalance
the ecologists because of three pillar; environment, economic as well as social.
b) Research Methods:
There are many research established in the developing countries that targets on the
Municipal Waste management instead of concentrating on Construction and Demolition waste
(C&D) in the construction industries. There are many approaches that has been analysed from
different research papers that helps to analyse C&D waste (Min & Shidong, 2015). This includes
efficiency of manufacturing, the sources or the results including the flaws of the design in the
project management as well as includes materials handling in the system.
The C&D waste materials is estimated as the total cost included in the construction or can
be considered as floor area included in the building. There is a waste hierarchy that is considered
as the best strategy to manage the waste. The waste hierarchy benefits the economy of the
country as well as creates low impact on the environment. The hierarchy of the cost management
strategy is shown below:
