Abstract In this below literature review, it highlights about Clarion events and their challenges faced at a time of global pandemic. There is a discussion of strategic issues which is being faced by event. Further, it includes different models and framework related to the task which is being performed by the company, there is also a discussion of challenges faced by Clarion events and how it can be solved. Clarion events are those events which are truly international business which is having portfolio of events and media brands which is across a reach of vertical marketplace. Company is having their offices consisting of employees at worldwide and who are specialise in delivering fast class marketing, info solutions and networking in high worth sectors. Further, some of the issues and challenges that could be faced by Clarion events are due to Brexit and Covid 19 pandemic. These could be solve by managers of company in effective manner. Also, some of the solutions needed for implementation of effective strategies within at workplace (Truman, 2021). There is use of digital events by the events industry and this results in attracting customers towards the event.Within this report, there is a literature review of Clarion events, there strategies and challenge faced and solution made for those issues are discussed. Further, conclusion and recommendations are made for this literature review. It means needs and expectations of customer change and this results in evaluating of the products and services. Company is having vision is to lead industry partner and connect people, opportunities and communities. In a market company is looking for new innovation and try to make improvements in their products and events. They are making improvement in digital products as well and this results in how they produced it and how they are delivering it. They are hiring people and candidates who can support them and invest a lot in developing and growing opportunities for the business. Covid 19 has impacted a lot because it has forced event industry to become digital and transform them towardsbeingdigital(Mina,Muhsen,andHashmi,2021).Nowadays,manyofthe organisations are delivering their products an services thorough digital platforms and in case of event industry, they are innovating something new and developing them towards performing their events digitally through mobile, tablets etc. further, by this people are no longer be able to move between various countries. On the other hand, Brexit is creating impact on event industry because many of the customers leave from EU and this may resulting in decreasing in purchase of tickets of the Clarion event. This has impacted negatively a lot on events. Also, the digital strategy is being used by events industry in order to get recovered from this issues. One of the other strategy which is used by managers of Clarion events is to host the show online in front of audience during this global pandemic and attract customer towards their event. Further, they are promoting online and offline events through several channels. Company is hiring various talented and capable workforce after this pandemic so that they could develop something unique and promote company products an services to the audience (Oyibo and Morita, 2021 ). Further, they are searching for target market and promote their events in front of them through digital platforms and their channels. Clarion event managers are using some of the strategies like they are sharing their events with media- this is one of the effective way as press release is the most important way to get customer attentions and achieving their goals and objectives. With developing of an event, they are involving local media to promote their event through influencers, sponsors and brand ambassadors etc. could promote their events. This creates awareness among customers and influential people. Further, they are going live in order to promote their events through Facebook. It invite customer and create awareness among individuals. These strategies will be resulting in providing benefits to the organisation and developing their productivity and sales of their tickets. Clarion events are believing in rising values and morale which could be resulting in enhancement of their growth opportunities and developing target market (Gonzalez, 2021). Further, they are recognising that must integrate their business value and operation in order to 5
meettherequirementsofstakeholders.Therestakeholdersincludessuppliers,customers, employees, society and managers etc. they are working towards providing rewarding to the employees and creating awareness of the broad community. Clarion events are just making contact with their old suppliers, or exhibitors in order to minimise the impact of their events wherever it is possible. Company is contributing to CSR principles. They are serving to people, and their community. Further, Clarion event is implementing digital performances and online events in order to attract customers (Kaikkonen, Helle, and Uusitalo, 2021). They are doing promotion through advertising and social media websites to create brand awareness. This helps them in enhancing more customer base and targeting potential customers as well. Presentation of models and theories Some of the theories and models which is presented within this literature review is pestle analysis as it helps the organisation in getting to know about the external factors which can directly influence business operation's and their events positively and negatively. It starts with Political factor- it includes changing in government, political stability, conflict and government policies etc. being in an event industry, it is important to make effective relations with government of every country (Harper, Mustafee and Yearworth, 2021). If they are developing effective relationships, then this will be helpful in creating opportunities for the Clarion events. The other factor is economical factor- in this interest rates, economic growth, disposable income of people comes. During this Covid 19, many of the people have been fired from their jobs. So this decrease their disposable incomes and it creates a threat for Clarion event. Because customers are not purchasing their tickets and it reduces their sales and revenues. The other factor comes sociological factor- it includes customer taste and preferences, demographic issues etc. if customers finds not interested in their events, then they shift to another events which results in decreasing sales of their tickets. It becomes a threat for people. Next is technological factor – it allows how one company is changing their technology which can affect their overall operations. Further, in relation with Clarion event, due to Covid 19 pandemic, they become digital and this results in development of their growth opportunities. If they did not change according to the requirements of audience, then this may be resulting in decreasing profits of their events. Next is legal factor- it arises through changing in law. Further environmental factors includes rising in national environment, event industry should have to consider in mind about environmental factors (Adamu, Cobbinah, and Alhassan, 2021). As 6

So, this becoming opportunity for them if climate change does not impact their performance or the event. The other model which can be used within company is advertising- as this is a major part of an event industry. If advertising is done loss, the event will also faced loss due to unawareness of the event (Stylos, Zwiegelaar, and Buhalis, 2021). So, it is most important to make advertising of the event in front of customers. This will helps in development of the organisers and engaging more people as well. In context with Clarion events, some of their events are developing their effectiveness and due to covid 19 pandemic, they are conducting digital events which results in enhancing customer and their products and services they are having. Further, the another model is crowd sourcing- as large number of people said are contributing their content, crowdsourcing is the business model which is mostly paired with model of advertising to generate value. Companies are trying to solve these problems and it is difficult to publish something new and try to solve new problems as well. Many of the successful solutions get rewards and company agree to grow within market share. Some of the challenges which comes in Clarion events is understaffing an event- as understaffing is a one of the major problem which comes in between is until a day of. As most of events is having under staffing and it becomes a issue for them as there could not be any one who are managing all the activities of the events and also there are many other person needed for completion of the events (Ti'Era, and Roby, 2021). One of the solution to this problems is take to all stakeholders and getting details information about what helps they are needing at a time of event days. Further, it is to write their role title and detailed description of what they are responsible for. The other challenge is overspending on the events- as budgeting is one of the challenge for Clarion events. because of covid 19 pandemic, many of the events are facing losses so it reduces profitability of the company and thus they are not having enough budget to keep for future. So, for providing this solution, events should have to manage their expenses and target potential customers who should contribute more in their events. They have to targets more for sponsors and other brand ambassadors who could create awareness of their events. Now a days, business are targeting more people and going digitally which is resulting in development of their potential customers and enhancing satisfaction of customers. 7

Discussion From the above literature review, it is discussed that Clarion events are widely used in the worldwide. As it is a internal business which is providing live and digital events. Due to covid 19 pandemic, company has faced certain losses related to customer satisfaction and decrease in profits and revenue (Blanks, Abuabara, and Semien, 2021). So for this they have introduced digital events which could helps them in engaging with the customers and encouraging them towardstakingparticipationintheevents.Further,theyareworkingonorganisation effectiveness and working towards achievement of their goals and objectives. They are working towards hiring of talented staff members which could provide some new innovation within their organisation and resulting in encouraging customers to attend their events as well. They are also working towards managing their budget and developing their productivity as well. Further they are using various strategies and techniques in order to deliver their best to the customers.
