student’s education, training, life and work competencies to the elements required of the unit and
collect the required evidence to prove the competencies.

5. An appointed assessor will assess the RPL application and the evidence provided.
6. The assessor will make an appointment to review the RPL application form and the evidence
provided with the learner, gathering more evidence if required. The assessor will provide feedback
to the learner on the outcome of the RPL application immediately.
7. If successful, a copy of the RPL application will be stored with the student file and the RPL decision
will be reflected on the training plan and student records.
8. Students may use the Complaints and Appeals Policy and Procedure if dissatisfied with the outcome
of the RPL application.

Plan and prepare to clean glass surfaces:
1.1. Glass surfaces to be cleaned are assessed for
extent of cleaning required and issues are
clarified.
1.2. Work site hazards are assessed and risks
controlled according to company, legislative, and
health and safety requirements.
1.3. Surface soil is inspected and identified as
organic or inorganic and required cleaning
techniques are confirmed.
1.4. Glass surface is inspected for pre-existing
damage and defects are reported according to
company requirements.
1.5. Equipment is selected according to job
requirements, checked for serviceability, and
faults are rectified or reported before starting
work.
1.6. Cleaning chemicals are selected and prepared
according to manufacturer specifications, and
health and safety and company requirements.
1.7. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is
sourced according to manufacturer specifications,
and health and safety and company requirements.
1.8. Signs and barricades are selected and
installed according to health and safety, and
company requirements.

employees are scarping,
wiping, squeegeeing. Further

Clean glass:
2.1. Existing soil is carefully scraped from glass
surface as required, using required equipment.
2.2. Spot cleaning techniques are used according
to specified requirements.
2.3. Glass surface is washed and squeegeed
according to specified requirements.
2.4. Window edges and sills are wiped to remove
soil and waste.
2.5. Glass surface, surrounding areas and floor are
checked to be free of chemicals, water and soil.
At workplace wastage soil is
properly scraped so that
nurse can use equipment’s in
appropriate manner. Further
some of the technique for
using spot cleaning are
wiping, pre-spraying and
these all are used as per the
requirement of company.

equipment and chemicals:
4.1. Equipment and PPE are cleaned, safety
checked, and stored according to manufacturer
specifications, and environmental, health and
safety, and company requirements.
4.2. Unused chemicals are stored or disposed of
according to manufacturer specifications, and
health and safety and company requirements.
Equipment’s for cleaning the
surface has been used as per
the guideline of health and
safety, company
requirements. These are
supporting to employees in
order to protect that
personal equipment such as
safety shoes, gloves. Some of
the equipment include glass
scraper, bucket in order to
protect environmental
resources. Further, unused
chemicals are identified by
employees so that they can
disposed in appropriate
manner. Else these are
essential for employees to
reduce unused chemicals so
that resources can be used in
effective way. Through this
staff will also use
