What opportunities exist for your to advocate on behalf of client and/or promote the work
of the service you represent as a social worker?
Social workers develop the social change as well as social justice on or with behalf of the
clients. The term client is used for referring to the communities, organizations, groups,
individuals and families. To the cultural diversity as well as ethnic diversity and strive for ending
the discrimination, poverty as well as oppression, the social worker tends to very sensitive. These
types of activities can be in a type of the supervision, direct practice as well as administration,
policy development and implementation, community organizing, advocacy, education, political
action, consultation, research and social evaluation (Teater 2014). Social workers try to enhance
the ability of the people for addressing the own needs. The social workers seek for promoting the
responsiveness of the social institution, communities and the organizations to the social problems
and need of individuals. The social workers should build and maintain the professional
relationships with the clients for avoiding taking the stress of any job home unintentionally or
intentionally. The social workers can advocate for creating the new programs, expanding the
existing programs and revising the outdated policies for ensuring that the clients achieve the
service and treatment they require (Adams, Dominelli and Payne 2017). The social work
profession’s mission is rooted in the group of the core values. Such core values, which are
adopted by the social influencers throughout the profession’s history, are the foundations of the
unique perspective and purpose of the social work. Followings are the unique perspective of the
