INTRODUCTION
Climate changes is refers to the major shifts in the weather and the temperature patterns in
the surroundings. Burning fossil fuels creates the greenhouse gas emission in the environment
which raises the temperature and create climatic change problems. Regular changes in the
climatic change causes many problems to the life of the people as well as its threat to their living
measures. Shift in the climatic change causes threat to the international peace and the security.
And the greatest threat of changes to climatic changes are excessive wastage of the resources
such as soil, air and water which helps in fulfilling human requirements(Clark, 2019) . The aim
of this report is to highlight evaluation of how climatic change could be problematic in the
business across the world with the examples and the suggestions how business can control in
reducing carbon footprints in the environment.
TASK
Climate change as the threat of international security.
The change in the climate emerges as the threat to the global security . The security
implications of the climatic change for the people can be divided into human security and the
traditional security (Grove, 2021) . It impacted on many sectors of the economy that are
discussed below:
Crop failure- Agriculture is vulnerable to the climatic change. Higher and the lower
temperature eventually make reduction in the desirable crops . Frequent changes in the
climatic or inappropriate weather according to the crops .
Fishery collapse- Changes in the climate causes fishery collapses as the structure of
marine community affects mostly by this. A global warming has impacted on fisheries
worldwide. By the sudden rises in the temperature and the acidification can lead to
negative effects on habitats and the many marine species.
Water insecurity- Changing weather patterns leads to increasing water insecurity and
scarcity and contaminating water supplies . These changing climatic conditions affect the
quality of water.

Evaluate how the climatic change could be problematic for businesses across the world
using suitable examples . With the suggested steps that business can implement to
reduce their carbon footprint.
Climatic change will have most impact on the businesses as it make impact on the lives of
the people. There are many ways by which a climatic can be impacted such as:
Higher prices for the goods and services- With the changing climatic conditions
impacted on the resources and by the lack of resources results in the increment in the
prices of the commodities and services (Hooghiemstra and Flantua, 2019) . For example
crop failure because of climate change causes lack of food grains which overall results in
higher prices of that crops.
Changing demands for the goods- Changing weather patterns creates changing in the
demands of the certain goods . For example demand for cold weather products like
heating oil losses their demand in weather changing environment.
Changes the resource availability and the costs- The extreme conditions of the
weather causes breakdown of the supply change and making it harder to get the
resources and the business needs for the materials. For example , severe drought and
changes weather patterns causes shortage of resources which is required for the food
and other products.
Challenging working conditions- As the temperature increases and weather patterns
change the working conditions of the some sectors which may be create issue in the
working of the employees. Job role that needs physical labour will become more
challenging for health and safety risk for the employees (Valente, Iribarren and Dufour,
2020). For example in the conditions of flood , there is a major need of labour but this
also consist risks of their life.
Changing regulations- There are changing rules and the regulations with the regular
changes in the weather. Companies that are affecting environments will have to invest
more substantial funding and work more for the environment. For example companies
that impact more on environment have to fulfil their corporate social responsibility.

Reducing energy consumption- By efficient of the resources and reducing the wastage
in working results in the energy consumption which as overall contributes in the
reducing carbon footprint from the environment.
More use of renewable energies- To choose more renewable energy in the business
which affects less in the environment makes business capable in reducing the carbon
footprints in environment.
Choose more greener infrastructure and the equipments- By choosing more
environment-friendly infrastructure in the business will contribute in reducing carbon
footprints in the environment. Such as using electric vehicles, uses new printers and air
conditioners in the business which uses less energy.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it is concluded that with the changing climatic conditions there is
major impact of that on the business working and make the tasks and the activities harder to
conducts. This report includes changes in the climatic change that make threats in international
security such as crop failure, fishery collapse and the water insecurity. There is evaluation of
how changing climate affects the business and create problem in the business such as Higher
prices for the goods and services, Changing demands for the goods, Changes the resource
availability and the costs, Challenging working conditions and Changing regulations. With that
there is a steps that should be implemented by the business in reducing carbon footprints such as
Reducing energy consumption in the business, More use of renewable energies and Choose more
greener infrastructure and the equipments.
