This programme is being organized to look at the issue of climate change in the world, this issue
is one of the major challenge for every human being. the starting part of this episode directly
been telecast from industrial area of Manchester city (Hannah, 2021).
Interview with Mr. X who is country’s major industrialist will state their words on changing
condition of climate and increasing pollution due to heavy industries of the country.
second interview will be conducted with workers who tend to work in these industry and will
understand their point of view in quality of life while working in heavy industry.

Mr. A, an industrial expert: “no matter how much money you earn in today’s world, you still
need air to breath, land to live and life to live. not acting against climate change will impact you”
Expert Mr. B a climate change worker: “eyes of next generation is upon people who ignore the
importance of climate in the world, answering next generation will be quite challenging for every
human being”

Background information on the topic:
climate means weather which include average suitable temperature for every living thing in the
world, this is long term pattern of weather in a particular area. climate change is systematic
change in the condition of the weather, this means capacity of weather is decreasing which will
impact life on earth (Ghosh, 2018). climate change is one of the major issue in today’s world,
rapid change in climate resulting loss of weather pattern and decreasing life expectancy of every

living being on earth. this issue shows attitude of human being towards nature, human activities
are major reason for climate change, these activities may include; rapid increase in
industrialization, deforestation, using transportation, burning of fossil fuel powering buildings
and skyscraper and rapid increase in consumption of harmful raw material such as plastic.
change in signature of climate shows emission blanket of harmful gas and substance over the
earth’s atmosphere trap heating rays of sun which heat up layers of earth resulting in increasing
global warming. climate change is major issue which need to be taken into consideration to make
earth better place to live.
Summary of issue:
Change in climate means change in life quality of human being, rapid increase in changing
quality of weather and nature can be serious issue in near future. human activities are major
reason for climate change, mainly increase in industrialization upmost reason for this issue.
many large scale industries who tend to manufacture goods on regular basis generate most
amount of pollution, excusive use of raw material and plastic in industrial operation result in
increasing pollution level of the Earth (Dietzm, Shwom and Whitley, 2020). use of greenhouse in
industrial operation means burring fossil fuel which generate greenhouse gasses resulting in
impacting the stability of climate. this issue need light because been late in saving the Earth can
be serious. many disease will impact human life, most recent example can be seen on wide
spread of COVID-19 in the world. climate change will bring many other virus and disease which
will decrease life expectancy and will impact quality of Earth’s atmosphere.

Interpretation: the above data shows rapid increase in temperature of UK, climate change
become major issue in increasing temperature of the country. UK is being facing extreme
weather event such as rapid increase in rising sea level, temperature and humidity tend to
increase. report says sea level of UK tend to increase up to 1.4 mm every year since 1910 ( Tol,
2020). temperature is warmer when comparing previous records and recent report. climate
change in UK will increase risk of flood, Earthquake and many other natural disasters. sudden
wild fire can be seen in recent time where company face huge pollution issue, these wild fire
occur due to warming up of surface of the Earth. there are many other evidence which support
the statement of climate change.

Sustainability: it is recommended for large scale industry to adopt sustainability at every level
of their business process, it is very clear that these manufacturing industry produce pollution by
burning fossil fuels. these industries need to adopt sustainability and need to plant more and
more tress in nearby area, they need to reduce use of plastic in packing and modelling of the
products. it is recommending for industries to use sustainable method to pack and deliver their
product to the customer (Thiele, 2016.). there are many industries who tend to adopt
sustainability which allow them to focus more on planting trees in hectors of land and cultivating

industrial waste into useful material promoting healthiness of the Earth. as per me, promoting
sustainability is key element in controlling climate change.
Reduce waste: reducing waste may be most common statement in controlling climate change,
but this need to be most adopted method in today’s world. I believe people are now becoming
more aware about the waste and its impact on the society, however no major step is being taken
by people or government. just providing statement for reduction of waste will going to work,
people themselves need to reduce use of product to stop waste. it is very clear that human
activities generate waste which cannot be easily controlled, these waste may include plastic
waste, food waste and inorganic waste.

Positive/negative update (industry leaders):
Industry leaders are best source who can provide relevant information and insight of the industry,
this insight information can provide information like how industry is controlling waste, what
measure are taken in controlling climate change. these industry leaders can provide useful
information in controlling climate change.
Positive/negative update (employee):
Worker of these industry can be one of the most useful aspect in climate change program,
because they have most experience in working closer to these industries. interview with worker
of industry can be very useful to get actual idea about controlling climate change issue in the
world.
Positive/negative update (government):
Government is one of the best source to bring up in this topic, as this issue is mainly addressed
by government, understanding their view point will be quite useful. interviewing government
official will improve the quality of climate change topic.
