CLIMATE CHANGE 1
Climate Change in Australia
Thesis statement
The research is based on identifying the role of greenhouse gas emissions such as CO2 in
increasing climate change of Australia.
The researchers and experts suggest that climate change originates from human activities
only because of increasing greenhouse gases in the environment that causes climate change
such as CO2. It is because the key reason for climate change is global warming which is
driven by the greenhouse effect (Change, 2014). It is worth noted that the greenhouse effect
is a result of human actions that are disturbing nature majorly that also causes increase in
CO2 emissions. From a socio-economic perspective, there are certain human activities that
widely affect the environment which includes their daily activities such as burning of fossil
fuels, deforestation, reflections in earth’s surface and emissions from burning of fossil fuels
have a negative impact on the environment (Flynn, et al., 2018).
Here, human actions have considerably enhanced greenhouse gas proportions in the earth’s
surroundings in daily living such as use of vehicles, burning of fossil fuel, use of fuel in
manufacturing process and others. In this context, greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide
(CO2), methane and nitrous oxide are constantly increasing day by day. The concentration of
the aforementioned greenhouse gases has risen from a huge proportion recently (NASA,
2019).
