INTRODUCTION
It is important to first understand the term climate change. It can be defined as a process
of change in the climate of Earth at various local, regional and global places. It is seen that
climate change is a negative phenomenon for earth and there are various effects of climatic
change (Fereja, 2017). It is important to know the reason behind change. In this essay there is
discussion related to are humans responsible for climate change. There are various important
parts discussed in this essay such as reason for climate change, the impact of such change as well
as some recommendations that will help in improvement.
MAIN BODY
Climate change can be understood as changes in the earth's climate due to burning of
fossil fuels, burning the forests (deforestation), increase in carbon dioxide concentration. There
are various reasons that lead to change in temperature of Earth (Senent-Aparicio and et.al.,
2018). Climate change is a systematic change in the long term statistics in variable such as
precipitation, temperature, wind or pressure, sustained over several decades or longer. There are
number of reason that are responsible for change in climate. The effect of climate change are like
higher temperatures, increased drought, rising sea levels, increases in precipitation patterns,
weather-related natural disasters, and decreased food security.
First of all it is important to understand the concept of global warming as it is one of the
major reason of climate change. It occurs due to rise in temperature of Earth's climate system.
The main cause of global warming is increase in Green house gases and the other emissions
caused by humans. It is seen that the gases like carbon dioxide, water vapour, nitrous oxide,
methane, and ozone are in the atmosphere and they emit radiations. Due to more heat emitted by
these gases the atmosphere is getting hotter and the upper layer of atmosphere is trapped. All this
has direct impact on the climate change as it results in heated and boiled global climate. It is seen
that the reason for this phenomenon taking place is humans (Wang, Zhao and Wang, 2018). As
they are using gadgets and other things for comfort that are emitting these green house gases and
that in turn results in changing the temperature. It is vital to note that in the current scenario
some parts of earth are getting colder and other warmer.

The weather is unpredictable and that is another reason that causes changes in the
climate, which is a natural process. It is noticed that there are various natural disasters that are
unpredictable such as dramatically increase the scale, severity, and frequency of storms,
wildfires, droughts, and extreme temperatures (Liu, Bi and Lv, 2018). So, it has a adverse impact
on the Earth and all the living beings living over there. It is important to note that if there will be
no control over this activity then the life can become extinct. As the level of carbon dioxide in
the air is enhancing and that is causing number of problems. It is important to stop the
phenomenon and take actions that may help to control this changing climate.
The major reasons that show that climate change is reason of human activities. Are discussed
below:
As the humans have increased use of fossil fuels. As it helps to enhance their comforts
and gives them luxury life. They bur oil, coals and gases to generate electricity and there
is use of oil to run transport and other vehicles. Along with that there is use of such gases
and oil by power manufacturing industry.
Deforestation is another problem and activity of humans. Mainly they cut trees for the
purpose of urbanisation (Zhang and et.al., 2019). There are major reasons like use of
wood for formulation paper, etc. It increases the level of carbon dioxide in atmosphere.
It is also important to note that intensive farming is another reason for changing the
climate. As due to industrial farming there is release of gases like carbon dioxide and
methane and that are harmful for the environment. It is seen that it causes pressure and
increases temperature of earth.

Along with that it is vital to know about the use of fertilisers as they also cause green
house effect. It is seen that use of fertilizers that are rich in nitrogen increases the heat of
cropland. It is a fact that the nitrogen oxide traps 300 times more than carbon dioxide.
It is seen that the oil drilling industry also releases carbon dioxide into atmosphere. It also
causes adverse impact on the environment and a reason of for causing change in climate.
All these above discussed points show that humans are responsible for change in climate (Heyd,
2021). It is true but it is vital to consider some other reasons and consequences that lead to
climatic change.
It is seen that the energy of Sun is so powerful. It energy passes through space and
changes when it lies of earth. The energy output of Earth is not Constant and that also causes
change in climate. It is also vital to note that earth orbit's around the Sun and that also changes
the climate. There are 3 different stages and have different impact on Earth. All the three
ccentricity, axial tilt, and precession combine have a impact on changing the climate of Earth.
But it is a slow process that takes hundreds of thousands of years. The current in the ocean also
causes heat around the Earth. As the oceans adsorb more amount of heat from atmosphere. The
temperature of sea surface increases and that also changes the pattern of ocean circulation. This
changes the temperature and causes global change (Zhang and et.al., 2019). When the direction
of these current changes the temperature also changes. It is observed that when there is small
change in ocean current there is impact on the global climate because the oceans store large
amount of heat. When there is increase in surface temperature of sea then there is increase in
amount of water vapour in the atmosphere that is over the ocean. That in turn increases the green
house gas. So it is also a reason that causes climate change. If studied at global level there is
relationship between vegetation and climate. As pattern of vegetation adsorbs Carbon dioxide it
can buffer some impact of global warming. But the loss of vegetation has opposite impact and
that causes problem and leads to climatic change.
It is seen that there are various other factors that are natural and also causes climatic
changes. It is important to have knowledge of all these factors and reason that also have impact
on climatic change (Zhong and et.al., 2019). It is said that humans are responsible and major
reason for the climatic change but there are some natural factors that are also discussed above. It
is seen that there is negative impact of this climate change as it changes the level of perception
and that changes the pattern of monsoon. There are various problems that arise due to lack of

rain. It is important to understand the problem and take measures. At it endangers the species
living on the earth. It is right time to stop and follow the steps that may help. Below is discussion
related to some measures that must be taken in order to reduce the adverse impact.
It is important to note that by planting more and more trees. As afforestation will help to
plant more trees and that will control carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. It will benefit the
atmosphere and reduce changes in climate.
Along with that vehicles are also one of the main reason that causes climatic changes so
the electric vehicles should be used (Wang and et.al., 2018). At the same time use of
renewable resources should be encourages.
Industries also cause pollution and carbon footprints. Government should take strong
actions against the same. There should be reduction of this waste by industries. This will
reduce the damage caused to environment and help in controlling climate change.
The individuals that use gadgets that increases green house gases should also be
controlled. It is important to control the emission of green house gases that cause global
warming as that will help in balancing the change in climate.
There should be policies and laws made stronger related to the climate change and there
should be efforts that help to minimise the impact of green house gases. Substitutes
should be identified as that will also help.
CONCLUSION
From the above essay it is evaluated that climate change is due to humans but at the same
time there are other natural reason as well. It is important to understand the cause of climate
change and then try to minimise it s that is causing adverse impact on the environment. In the
above study there is discussion related to key reason behind climate change that are both humans
and some are natural. In the end there are some recommendations that will help to balance and
control climate change.
