INTRODUCTION
Climate change describes as long-term shifts in the weather and temperatures patterns.
These shifts may be occurs through natural activities like variations in the solar cycle or through
some human activities such as burning of fossil fuels like oil, gas and coal. The human activities
are considered as primarily action that create change in the climate. The following essay is
prepared for the topic of “to what extent is Climate Change a result of human activities?”.
MAIN BODY
Most of the scientific activity are believe that there are many human induced activities tat
are significant contributor in changing the levels of global carbon dioxide and climate. Carbon
Capture and Storage is a process where CO2 is captured through hydrocarbon based power plant
as well as other point of sources as well as subsequently stored in deep saline water bearing rock
formations which represents a promising mitigation strategy (Cook and et. al., 2013). There are
many human activities which affecting the climate which includes combustion of fossil fuels that
are altering the climate system. Humans are also creating changes in land cover and land use
which includes urbanisation, deforestation as well as shifts in vegetation patterns which also
change the climate which results in alteration in reflectivity of the earth surface, urban heat
island effects, emissions from burning forests as well as changes in the water cycle. All these
activities of the human creating the changes the environment which results global warming due
to which their life are also affects. This makes important for the human in order to understand
how the some activities conducted by them affecting the climate and environment due to which
their life also get dangerous.
Changes in solar radiation, in the atmospheric, abundance of greenhouse aerosols and
gases as well as in land surface properties create alternation in the energy balance of the climate
system. These changes are also be considered as radiative force that are used to compare how a
level of natural and human factors create cooling or warming influences of the global climate.
The TAR, new observation as well as related modelling of the greenhouse gases, land surface
properties, solar activity and some other factors of aerosols can help in improving the effect of
radiative forcing in better manner (IPCC, 2007). The most important anthropogenic greenhouse
gas is carbon dioxide. It has increased to 280 ppm to 379 ppm3 a pre-industrial value in 2005
which was exceeds by the far natural range as which was determined through ice cores. In
