AI Summary
This report examines the multifaceted impacts of climate change on businesses within the United Kingdom. It begins by defining climate change and its global implications, emphasizing rising temperatures and altered weather patterns. The report then delves into the core of the issue, identifying human activities, particularly the burning of fossil fuels, as the primary driver of climate change. Focusing on the UK, it highlights the country's vulnerability due to its island status and the adverse effects on business productivity and profitability. The study discusses various factors such as deforestation, plastic waste, and manufacturing emissions, and their contribution to the climate crisis. It also explores the role of government regulations, and corporate strategies in mitigating climate change. The report concludes with a call to action, emphasizing the need for stricter environmental policies, investments in renewable energy, sustainable practices, and individual awareness to address the challenges and foster a sustainable future for UK businesses. INTRODUCTION
The climate change refers to long term shifts in temperatures and weather pattern which are used
to manage the and develop the business performance. This is the activity in which changes are
happening in the environmental conditions of the earth. This is important for each individual to
analysis the environment and comes to know what is happening around and how to operate a
business in changing situation. The temperatures on earth have increased by 1.4°F since the early
20th century (Dietz, Shwom, and Whitley, 2020). The involving factors in climate change are
internal and external which directly have impacted the business industry. Global warming in
increasing changing day by day due to increasing pollution, and spreading natural gases that
directly impacted on climate and people’s lives. The current essay consider discussion regarding
climate change and its causes that affects working. The decided country for report is UK and its
environment which is changing due to human activities.
MAIN BODY
Climate change has become a major concern globally over the last few decades that have
affected life on the earth in different ways. This is important for each industry to focus on
changing environment and factors as it affects business productivity and profitability. Since the
1800s, human activities have been main driver of climate change, primarily due to burning fossil
fuels like coal, oil, and gas. The life of people is being affected negatively as it creates problems
in running the functions and activities. The management is having major role as it identifies the
market and introduces kind of products as well as services that can help to develop the
organizational performance. In context to UK, climate change is becoming a major issue where
all functions and activities in relation to business have been affected badly. This is an island
country that sits north-west of mainland Europe. It has seen that is environment is not favourable
then could be challenging to regulate the business and affects the business productivity (Tol,
2020).
It is true that human activities are the main reason of climate change as a number of
people come from villages to city where they need homes automatically this refers to cutting the
forest and trees. Due to increasing population in UK and shifting by people in England for the
purpose of performing their jobs and businesses forests are cut continuously. There is need of
homes, buildings, and smart cities which is possible to climate change and effect on business

performance. If there is control on external and cutting activities, then could be possible to
manage the climate and its changes which can help to develop productivity and profitability. If
there is less control over human activities, they could be challenging to live healthy and safe.
Cutting down forests and farming releases heat-trapping pollution called greenhouse gases into
the atmosphere, warming the planet and destabilizing the climate (Hannah, 2021). Other than
this, overwhelming consensus where is human activities are responsible for changing climate
that affected the business productivity and profitability. The climate has always warmed and
cooled as which showcase temperatures are in natural temperature fluctuations. It has seen that
climate change is the computerized climate models, which are inaccurate and inadequate has
affected the performance in changing environment. The human beings are responsible to
changing the climate as it uses plastic pack products, increasing wastages, pollution, releasing
gases, and other that affects the functions (Woolway, and et.al., 2020).
In UK plastics and waste is another reason that is creating the issue of climate change as
it increases the wastages that directly affect the business environment and productivity. Plastics
are made of fossils fuels, releasing emission through their production. Globally 40% of plastics
are used as packaging and hard to recycle, dealing with waste releases emission has created the
issue for business industries. This is important for each organization to focus over wastage and
plastics as it directly affects the business productivity and profitability. In UK people are feeling
problems in taking breathe and oxygen (O’Neill, and et.al., 2020). To resolve the issue of climate
change there is need to focus over changes and should less use of plastics and wastage. It has
also seen that there are number of manufacturing industries in UK, which are releasing gases,
folks, fossils and wastages that create the pollution and make dangerous to air, water, and
oxygen. The management is having major role who needs to analysis the environment and
introduce kind of services that can help to reduce the negative effects and supports to operate the
business in changing climate.
Atmospheric gases are very dangerous and unnatural that causing global warming in UK
are likely caused by humans. The ice-core researchers have stated that gases such as CO2, CH4,
and NO2 started to increase in 1751, around the time of industrial revolution and since then
atmospheric levels the increased from 220 ppm to 460ppm. The human being requires to be
conscious and careful regarding environment that can lead to positivity in climate change and
supports to develop the performance effectively. This is argued to bring the changes in their

environment by managing and arranging the changes that directly affect the business
productivity and profitability. The government of UK requires to analysis the environment and
issues which are pertaining where it became important to introduce the kind of services and
follow regulations that can help to arrange and operate the activities. The individual requires to
have proper understanding and knowledge about changing environment where formulation of
strategy and planning could be effective to manage the change and attain the higher performance
(Clayton, and Karazsia, 2020).
There are different ways which can be done by human being for the purpose of reducing
the impacts of climate change and its issues which occurs in UK. This is important for each
individual to analysis the market as well as the environment then offer the kind of services which
can help to bring the improvements by reducing negative impacts and change which occurs due
to climate change. If there is right planning and strategies, then would be effective to regulate the
business and managing the all functions properly. To managing changes and new innovation in
UK there is need to formulate the strict regulations and legislation regarding to keep clean t5he
environment and controlling the wastages that can help to develop the changes properly and
supports to attaining good functions. Greenpeace campaigns can be used to stop the change the
climate by persuading governments and organization to change their practices. The government
need to make the right policies and regulations that can help the climate , communities, and
environment (Halsch, and et.al., 2021). Due to changing activities such as heatwaves, storms,
flooding, and long freezing winters the UK’s is affecting the climate change. The health of
people, ability of grow food, housing, safety, and work is the results of climate change. There are
number of aspects which can be used by government of UK to control the change in climate by
keep fossils fuels in the ground, investing in renewable energy which can help to controlling the
excessive activities, switch to sustainable transport, improve farming, and encourage vegan diets,
restore nature to absorb more carbon, and protecting forest from cutting down that can help to
save the environment and reduce the heat (Whitmarsh, Poortinga, and Capstick, 2021). This can
help to manage the all functions and activities effectively by attaining higher performance and
supports to accomplish the goals and maintaining effective environment.
