INTRODUCTION
A clinical governance is defined as framework through which SUNSET HOSPITAL
organizations that are accountable for continuously improving the better quality of services. This
will help for providing safe-guards as high standards of care in which creating a healthy
environment or culture. This documentation will describe about the difference between CG and
National safety, quality health service standards (NSQHS). Then, analyse CG framework in
SUNSET HOSPITAL workplace and appraise by organization. It will describe that how
SUNSET HOSPITAL staff members recognise clinical governance framework and reflecting in
their practices.
MAIN BODY
Overview
Clinical Governance has been evolved since it’s introduced in 1998, means to improve
quality of healthcare service and delivered by National Health Service. The classical definition of
CG (Clinical Governance) is consider as framework which SUNSET HOSPITAL enterprises are
accountable for continuously improving quality of their health service and provide safe guarding
high standards (Ahern, Feiler & Sdrinis, 2020). Clinical effectiveness questions that how clinical
intervention which is mainly supports for measuring, along with its cost effectiveness. National
Institute for health and clinical excellence are providing better guidelines that have been
developed to improve clinical effectiveness.
Difference between CG and NSQHS Standards
The primary aim of NSQHS (National safety and quality health service standards) that
support for protecting public from harm and improve provision of health services. This type of
standards was approved by Ministers in 2017, while allowing SUNSET HOSPITAL enterprise
flexibility to decide how they can achieve their desirable result or outcome in appropriate
manner. On the other hand, Clinical Governance is consider as framework that help for SUNSET
HOSPITAL organization to provide as safeguarding with high quality of services (Veenstra &
et.al., 2017). The difference between CG and NSQHS whereas CG help for establishing an
