ABSTRACT
This investigation is based on the research aim of analysing the acute mental health problems
commonly observed among adults. It includes to address several relevant objectives with the
help of using secondary sources of data collection in literature review. It includes use of
qualitative research method and descriptive research design to carry out the investigation
effectively. However, it has been founded that efforts of care professionals to make adults aware
of healthy habits and precaution intake by them is helpful in terms of avoiding acute mental
health problems.
INTRODUCTION
Overview of the research
Mental health can be defined as a condition of being emotionally, mentally and socially
wellbeing. It includes the condition of an individual with proper ability of decision making and
remains confident to interact with other people in their daily routine. Basically, it is observed that
psychological health condition is correlated with physical condition of an individual. It includes
the fact that a person mentally ill can harm themselves and others which generally depends upon
their level of severe mental problem (Salame, Ehsani-Chimeh and Armstrong, 2019). However,
it has been analysed that psychological problems are not easily detectable because their early
symptoms were usually ignored by people. It is observed that people have busy schedule of life
and intake unhealthy diet which impact negatively on their mental health condition. It is
observed that adults face high level of competition for their career and difficulty to study their
respective syllabus due to which several mental health problems occurs. Moreover, it is observed
that mostly stress and depression is commonly developed among adults due to several reasons. It
is necessary for individuals to gain knowledge of effective precautions with the help of care
professionals in order to improve their lifestyle for remain healthy by avoiding mental health
issues.
In addition to this, mental health can be considered as a condition of emotional, psychological
and social wellbeing. It includes the number of factors which are responsible for occurrence of
mental illnesses such as biological factors, life experiences and family history mental disorders
(McHugh and et. al., 2020). Meanwhile, it is observe that early symptoms of mental health

LITERATURE REVIEW
The evaluation of basic understanding about acute mental health problems
The acute mental health problems are generally takes place among adult people due having
several reasons behind it. It includes early symptoms of extremely high or low moods, excessive
fear, worry or anxiety, social withdrawal, dramatic changes in eating or sleeping habits and long
lasting sadness or irritability.
The early absence of mental problems in individuals with learning difficulties causes
ramifications against the affected individual and their family. Components influencing this
useless identity include: lack of information in welfare and social thinking personnel, and
caregiver groups, about the signs and manifestations of mental health problems; indicative
eclipse with barriers to learning or physical illness; how familiar the carers are with a generous
compensation for the individual and how well the data is shared within and between groups of
paid carers; and worries the person with learning difficulties to express their situation. This
anonymity can lead to incompetent treatment or misuse of assets. Reliable treatment requires
evaluation and thought development is intended to ensure that the best accessible interventions
are provided.
The identification of the causes behind commonly occurrence acute psychological problems
Psychological disorders, also referred to as mental disorders, are differences from the
normalization of the psyche that determine stable levels of behaviour that will have a real impact
on person's abilities and daily life. A wide range of mental disorders have been identified and
combined, including dietary problems, such as anorexia nervosa; mood disorders, for example,
anxiety; character problems, for example, an unstable character problem; cowardice disorders,
for example schizophrenia; sexual problems, for example, sexual harassment; and other. An
individual can have a variety of mental health problems.
The specific causes of mental disorders are not known, but components that contribute to it
may restore the lopsided properties of the material for the mind, meet young people, heredity,
waterfall -order, prenatal presentations, and weight. Some problems, for example, the peripheral
character and pain, occur from time to time in women. Others, for example, the problem of
irregular pollution and substance abuse, are more common in men. Different complications

By the time a person encounters a mental illness or intellectual or social problem for a long
time, a mental assessment can be valuable and can lead to a mental health decision.
The impact of acute mental health problems among adults
The factors such as mind, meet young people, heredity, waterfall -order, prenatal presentations,
and weight do not work together to contribute to the development of mental problems and the
idea of quality with situational collaboration as a generous object of study. Collaborations for the
quality setting reflect the amazement with which some quality changes govern the impact of
ecological elements. In any case, ecological factors often cause epigenetic changes - complex
changes that affect the way characteristics are communicated - making it difficult to naturally
distinguish from hereditary effects. A greater commitment to epigenetics has inspired modern
day-to-day psychoanalysis to focus on the biochemical tools by which ecological elements can
influence hereditary artifacts and the onset of psychiatric problems. The accompanying
experiments demonstrate the vague notion of collaborative quality by providing an example of
studying the causes of schizophrenia and depression, two of the psychological well-being needs
the World Health Organization recognize.
Schizophrenia
Schizophrenia has long been accepted as a strong hereditary component. Studies on couples
report that the consensus rate of schizophrenia (the likelihood of a couple being upset if the other
couple does) is between 45 and 60% for a monozygotic (unrecognizable) couple, compared to
just 10-15% for a couple dizygotic (close). In a large-scale study of schizophrenic writing,
Husted et al. (2012) confirm that several studies have differentiated a large group of ecological
risk factors for schizophrenia. For example, an exemplary study of the Dutch Hunger Winter
(1944-1945) found that early hunger induction in pregnancy was associated with an acute
increase in the incidence of schizophrenia for both men and women. Be that as it may, due to the
idea of revising the survey, the experts did not understand what many factors were associated
with hunger (for example lack of planting material, increasing stress, pollution, attack of harmful
substances or a combination of these elements) added to the increased risk of psychosis.
Determining the general commitment of ecological components to the onset of schizophrenia is

also confused with the interactions between hereditary and natural factors. For example, Caspi et
al. (2005) found that several changes in the quality of catecholamine-O-methyl transferees
(COMT), which is committed to the direction of dopamine release in the prefrontal cortex, affect
the amount of cannabis used by young adults such as risk factor for schizophrenia.
Depression
The hereditary commitment for obesity is estimated to be around 30-40%. Although a
combination of natural influences have been identified as risk factors for discouragement, early
childhood pressures, such as adolescent physical or sexual abuse, disrespect, and parental loss,
appear to increase the likelihood of their training pain along the way. The effects of stresses in
the first years of life are influenced by a combination of effects and the quality of 5-HTTLPR,
which is involved in the transport of serotonin, is considered. Caspi et al. (2003) found that the
shortened form of quality, associated with a decrease in serotonin transport activity, amplifies the
risk of developing severe side effects and self-sufficiency after exposure to life stages anxiety
and abuse in childhood. However, the results of the 5-HTTLPR quality studies were not
consistent and Heim et al. (2012) suggest that such a divergence may occur because some
hereditary basis may alter the perception of 5-HTTLPR quality according to the ecological
association. Furthermore, this collaboration may be influenced by a combination of different
effects, as different linkages of quality conditions have been described in ongoing 5-HTTLPR
quality studies.
The strategies in order to avoid acute mental health disorders among adult people
The social, organic and neurological sciences have provided a remarkable understanding of the
role of risk and protective components in educational pathways for mental disorders and
emotional distress. Natural, mental, social and cultural hazards and protective components and
the co-operation have been identified in terms of occasional life expectancy such as fatal life.
Many of these components are flexible and therefore tend to focus on expectation and
improvement measures. The high comorbidity between mental disorders and their association
with physical illnesses and social issues underscores the need for rooted general well-being
strategies, focusing on interrelated problem groups, consistent decision making, early stages of
heterogeneous directions and populations at different risks.
A wide range of prevention-based prevention strategies and designs are available for
execution. They have been found to reduce random components, strengthen immune factors, and

promoting good health and well-being at the neighbourhood and national levels. Avoidance and

METHODS
Types of investigation
The types of investigation can be divided into two categories that is qualitative and quantitative
method from which suitable one is required to be selected by investigator. This project will focus
on qualitative research method which is suitable to carry out study on analysis of acute mental
health problems among adults in order to gain accurate findings. However, the qualitative
research method can be described as technique in which theoretical data is collected by avoiding
numerical information. It basically relies on unstructured as well as non-numerical data to carry
out the study effectively. Meanwhile, it is necessary for conducting research on specific topic by
gathering detailed information and understands relevant facts in terms of achieving accurate
outcomes. This method is suitable it is responsible for providing in depth and detailed knowledge
related to specific topic of study which helps to look deeper besides of analysing ranks and
counts via recording feelings, behaviours as well as attitudes. It involves the way of creating an
openness which is favourable in order to motivate individuals for expanding on their responses
that can open up fresh topic areas not initially considered in research.
Research design
The research design can be considered as an appropriate strategy which is used to carrying out
investigation on specific topic for gaining accurate findings. It includes several categorise of
research methods such as descriptive, exploratory and experimental from which suitable one
should be selected to use in research. In respect of this project, it will focus on using descriptive
research design which favourable to conduct studies on analysis of acute psychological problem
occurring among adult people to gain appropriate outcomes. It is an effective as well as efficient
method which is helpful to gather accurate information in detail for attaining better outputs.
Research approach
There are two types of research approach such as inductive and deductive from which
appropriate one should be selected to be used in specific investigation. This investigation will
focus on inductive research approach in order to gain accurate findings of acute mental health
problems among adult people.

Research philosophy
The research philosophy is an important technique which should be sued to conduct the
investigation in correct direction to gain accurate outcomes. It can be divided into two categories
such as positivism and interpretivism from which suitable method should be used in
investigation. In context of this study, it will use the research philosophy of interpretivism as it is
favourable to conduct study on acute mental illness occurred among adults.
Data collect methods
The data collection methods include different types of sources of information from which
relevant data can be collected to analyse the same which helps to gain accurate findings. It can be
divided as primary and secondary method of data collection from which appropriate sources can
be used to gather relevant data. However, the primary data is known as first data because it was
gathered by researcher and never used earlier. It includes several sources like questionnaire,
focus groups, interviews, survey etc. from which appropriate method can be used. Moreover, the
secondary data is considered as second hand data which was used earlier by other researchers. It
includes secondary sources including books, journals, magazines, newspapers, government
publications, and websites and so on. In context of this investigation, it will focus on secondary
sources for conducting literature review and primary method for conducting data analysis to
interpret respective findings. It includes use of questionnaire to collect data from respondents via
online method to gain relevant data.
Data analysis
Data analysis can be defined as an effective method of gathering, analysing and interpreting
respective findings related to specific research topic. This investigation will use the thematic
analysis method in order to interpret respective findings related to acute mental health problems
among adults.
Sampling method
In respect of this investigation, the random sampling method is used to select a group of suitable
participants to gather accurate information. This research will focus on random sampling method
to select group of participants and the respective sample size is of 50 respondents.
