INTRODUCTION
Depression is a mental disorder which is highly need to treat in effective way. There is
huge impact of depression on personal life and can affect other life too. In this report there is
discussion about the therapist and related information which can help in understanding about
feelings and help in effective psychological treatment (Syed Elias, (2019)).
MAIN BODY
Question 1
AB has diagnosed with depression which confirms that patient with depression. GP has
recommended for counseling where different argument has been done for better understanding
about the feelings. AB is not able to handle her life. She is depressed that she is not able to
control her life according to her. This leads to low self-esteem and depression which also made
her not caring about her children and she like to stay isolated from society. AB less effectively
interact with her family member. Due to getting isolated from society and family, this creating
worsening of the patient and can have bad impact on health. According to counselling AB is not
able to answer any argument normally. AB’s encounter shows that she has self low-esteem and is
not excited about her life. There is an impression of the encounter that AB don’t care about
anything and she is not enjoying her life. She is not excited about her children for to
communicate with or connect with them. As per the impression of the encounter, it shows that
AB suffering from depression which creates isolation from the world and not like to
communicate with other people and she get irritated easily during communicating with society
people (Spinhoven, (2017)).
Question 2
Transference patient redirects the feeling of desire for other individual who is entirely
different person. This is the one which can be happened when face of distinct differences. It can
relate to another person with some known person and feeling generated and observed which
maybe good or bad feeling. For example- When any person observe characteristics of her mother
in another woman, the attribute mother early feelings generated to that lady. It may be good
feeling or bad feelings. Transference can be happen in any place or sometime in health care
setting during therapy session. It can happen when counselling is going on and patient get
attached to love, admiration, hostility, anger or any other feeling.
