Cloud architectures to be employed to assist MetaSoft to meet the Board’s
strategy
As MetaSoft is a software company and is concerned about shifting its data centre
from the Melbourne data centre to the Sydney data centre, there is a high necessity of
implementing a cloud architecture (Li et al., 2013). A cloud architecture is required to be
implemented in the company because it will allow the company to be more secured and
reuse the most of its services. There are several cloud architectures that can be
implemented into the current system to enhance the performance and increase the line of
business (Zhang et al., 2014). The company is interested upon implementing a hybrid cloud
technology that intends to keep a section of the data centre on the premises whereas the
other part of the data centre will be residing in the cloud. The different kinds of the cloud
architectures that are required for the MetaSoft software company to meet the Board
Strategies include the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud architecture and the Azure
Functions server less architecture.
These two types of cloud architectures will be able to meet the requirements of the
company as the company is relying on the implementing a cloud architecture to enhance
the performance (Goyal, 2014). The various types of ways through which both the types of
cloud architecture could assist the MetaSoft software company is by enhancing the
efficiency of the company, increasing the productivity and by helping to have a significant
reduction of the company expenditures. Moreover, these two cloud infrastructures are
destined upon increasing the flexibility for the business. In addition to it, with the
implementation of these two type of cloud architectures, MetaSoft will be able to increase

the business sustainability since the architectures will be able to increase the availability for
some business line applications that are intended to execute on the self infrastructures. The
cloud architectures as a whole will not only increase the flexibility of the business system
but will also be able to increase the responsiveness of the business especially with the
overseas operations. As the board has formulated some strategies to close down its old
datacentre, they are being more reliable on the cloud architectures (Alamri et al., 2013). The
mentioned cloud architectures intend to provide an overall support to the software
company.
Descriptions and Reasons for deploying the architectures
The AWS cloud architecture is devoted upon using a client infrastructure as the front
end infrastructure and a back end architecture that involves the application, management,
services, the cloud runtime, storage and the infrastructure (Zou, Deng & 2013). Moreover,
this cloud infrastructure is focussed upon the data integration, integrated networking,
integrated identity and access, integrated resource and deployment management along
with integrated devices and edge systems (Cloud, 2011). The integrated database that is
required for this company is the Amazon relational database because it is stress-free in
setting up, work and gauge a relational database. In internet networking, the Amazon virtual
private cloud can be incorporated in the cloud architecture as complete control of the
network can be achievable. A Hardware VPN connection can also be created between the
company’s data centre and the virtual proxy cloud to clout the cloud services as a lead of
the corporate data centre. Identity of AWS and the access management will enable the
company to increase the robustness by granting the management support along with the
AWS service access programming interfaces using the remaining identity systems (Koo et al.,
