2CLOUD BASED ENTERPRISE SYSTEM Introduction: The approach towards the adaptation of the cloud-based enterprise systems have been seen to be at high pace, and along with this the frameworks which were used previously for the purpose of gathering the information or data are seen to be quite different from those frameworks which are being used in today’s world(Avram, 2014). The advancements in the technology has been associated with leading towards the developing of more and more developed enterprise systems. In today’s world most of the organizations are seen to be associated with the usage of the cloud computing technology along with the cloud based enterprise system for the purpose of managing their business operation along with storing of information. Discussion: This report would be mainly associated with discussing about the usage of the cloud based enterprise system by the organization PRO which is one of the division of the BAF industries which is associated with the creation or fabrication and circulation of the proficient car care products and services. There exists almost 300 wholesalers in the Distributor Network of PRO in United States as well as internationally. The headquarters of this organization is situated in Santa California and they are in need of implementing an Enterprise system(Beaty, 2013). This enterprise system is needed for the purpose of providing them with assistance in dealing with the various kind of business procedure of the organization such as for maintenance of stocks and managing of the flow of work orders. The framework which exists in the organization is not associated with allowing them in making the required unit of measurable changes in the process of manufacturing as well as in the procedures of production related to the extraction and powerful purchasing along with the costing and valuing.
3CLOUD BASED ENTERPRISE SYSTEM Needs of the organization: The organization PRO is having a constant requirement related to the level of stocks so as to have proficient buying and is having expectations related to having a computerized generation of the suitable records related to transportation. This expectation mainly exists for the purpose of assortment of the chemical items or the products such as the Product Security Data Sheets or the PSDS(Lin & Chen, 2012).In addition to all they also needed an upgrade of the communication system as well which exists between the headquarters and the other units existing in the remote areas. Besides this the assembling procedure of the different products of PRO is also seen to be consisting of a complicated synthetic plan. For all this reasons the organization have been associated with looking for the cloud- based enterprise system which would be well-defined such as the ERP also known as the Enterprise Resource Planning which is associated with enabling of the organizations capabilities in an easy way by means of making the organization capable of moving from the on premise Information Technology structure to an cloud based environment(Sun, Strang & Firmin, 2017). Benefits: Some of the major benefits of using the cloud based enterprise system has been listed below: Increased efficiency and reduced cost: The usage of the cloud based enterprise system doesn’t require huge spending of money upon the purchasing and the maintenance of the equipment’s. This in turn is associated with drastic reduction in the associated cost. There is no need of spending any kind of money in the hardware, facilities, utilities or the building of large data centers so as to grow the business. In addition to this there is also no need of having large IT teams so as to handle the operations of the cloud data centers and the reason behind this that all the data would be managed and handled by the experts present at the side of the cloud service provider(Xu et al., 2017). Cloud is also associated with reduction of the costs associated with the downtime and the reason is that the downtime in the clouds is very rare which in turn means that there is no need of spending time or money in the process of fixing any kind of potential issues related to the downtime.

There exists a baseline protection for every platform as well as for the data that they process like the access control, authentication and encryption. And from here different organizations are associated with supplementing of these protection along with some additional security measures of their own for the purpose of bolstering of the protection of the data present in the cloud along with being associated with tightening of the access to all the sensitive information present in the cloud. Scalability: The Needs related to Information technology or IT is seen to be varying from one organization to another which means, enterprises having larger number of employees is having an entirely different IT requirement as compared to an small organization having small number of employees(López & Ishizaka, 2017). Besides this the scalability is also associated with minimizationoftherisksfacedbythein-house operationalissuesandthemaintenance (Elmonem, Nasr & Geith, 2016). The usage of the clouds would be helping in having a high- performance resource at the disposal along with professional solutions and zero up-front investment. Mobility: Cloud computing is associated with allowing in having a mobile access to the corporate data by means of the smartphones or devices and this in turn is associated with providing a great way of making sure that no one is left outside the loop. The mobility feature can be used by those who are having work load or are situated at different geographically dispersed location so as to keep updated with the clients and with the co-workers as well. It is easy and possible to store, retrieve, recover and process the resources which are present in the cloud. Cloud is also associated with providing a 24/7 access as well which can be done by making use of any device having internet availability(Ganesh & Mehta, 2016). Besides this the updating and upgrading is also done automatically which in turn is not only associated with helping in saving time but also helps in saving the team efforts required for the maintenance of the system resulting in tremendous decrease in the workloads of the IT teams. 7CLOUD BASED ENTERPRISE SYSTEM the user are damaged. Cloud bases enterprise system is associated with providing of a quick recovery of the data in cases of emergency such as the natural disaster of power outages. Cloud infrastructure is also capable of helping in the prevention of those losses which are faced because of the usage of the traditional on-premise approach(Gupta et al., 2018). The uploading of the data to the clouds would make the data accessible anytime from anywhere even if the computer is damaged. Control: Control over the data is seen to be vital for any organization as it is never known what can happen if a document gets into the wrong hands such as in the hands of the cybercriminals or in the hands of the employees who are not trained in a well manner. 8CLOUD BASED ENTERPRISE SYSTEM are associated with providing of offers relate to accessing the world class enterprise technology. And the implementation cloud solution is associated with helping in staying ahead of the competitors. Disadvantages of cloud computing: Some of the major challenges faced while using the cloud based enterprise system have been listed below: Higher cost of the bandwidth: The usage of the cloud computing is associated with helping in the saving of hardware acquisition costs however the expenditure on the bandwidth is seen to be increased at a considerable way. Application small in size does not require many expenses however the application which are data-intensive need a handsome amount of investment by the organization (Das & Dayal, 2016). There is a need of sufficient bandwidth for the purpose of delivering intensive as well as complex data over the network. Continuous monitoring and supervising: Cloud computing is often seen to be associated with suffering frequent outages which owns to the lack related to the round the clock services on the part of the cloud providers. This in turn is surely associated with making the organization concerned about the different cybercrimes such as the hacking or any other type of attack conducted upon the cloud infrastructure which are having the capability of damaging or exposing the data to multiple clients(Chen, Liang & Hsu, 2015). In order to prevent this type of damages there is an essential need of adopting certain security measures which would be including the tracking of any kind of unusual behaviors all across the servers. Data access and integration: The cloud based servers are often seen to be associated with lacking the appropriate and effective customer support services. Companies are often seen to be associated with having the concern related to the data ownership and loss of control over the data when they decide of moving to the cloud(Saa et al., 2017). One of the most important element of the decision making process is associate with including the selecting of where and how the data is to be stored. Integration is another major challengein the process of adopting the clouds. It is very challenging to integrate all the exiting application with the clouds in a smooth manner. Analysis of the Cloud Based Enterprise System The best option which lies in front of the organization is the usage of the Enterprise system which is SaaS based for the purpose of storing the information as well as for the purpose of managing the information in an effective manner. Besides all this the cloud based ERP system is needed by the organization for the purpose of meeting the demands related to adaptability and the usage of the cloud based system would be additionally associated with the enabling the organization in having an effective development or growth towards the prerequisites which are to
