INTRODUCTION
 For the companies, it is very essential that they manage the legal
and ethical aspect and conduct in order to improve the working
efficiency of business.
 In case the companies are not working on ethical basis then this
will be negatively impacting the working efficiency.

OVERVIEW
 For the completion of present discussion, the use of Grampian
university which is an educational institute which runs on
their own system and application.
 The campus is located in North east of Scotland but is also
providing online learning to the students.
 With respect to modernisation, Grampian university is
planning to develop the IT strategy that is moving towards
adoption of cloud based services.

LEGAL ISSUES
 With the present situation it was seen that the person that is senior software engineer
challenged the strategy of cloud based service.
 The reason for challenging the strategy was that this may lead to reduction in
responsibility and university will be developing less software.
 Hence this can affect the working efficiency of the business and as a result of this it can
affect the profitability and efficiency of the university.

MANAGERIAL ISSUES
 The managerial issues relating to the aspect of cloud based service resulting in reduction of
responsibility is very high.
 The reason underlying this fact is that when the university will be using cloud based service then
other employees will not recognize their responsibility.
 This is pertaining to the fact that when any change is being brought within the company then this
affects the working of university.
 Hence in case of cloud based service as well there were many employees who were not happy with
the service selection.

IMPLICAITONS
 The implication of using the cloud based service is both positive and negative.
 This is because of the reason that this software provides both benefits and drawback of
working and efficiency of the business.
 Hence, the positive implication involves the fact that working will be more smooth and
efficient.
 Along with this all the data will be stored in safe and secure place.

CONCLUSION
In the end with the help of above presentation it is clear that there is requirement of
compliance with legal and ethical aspect of business.
This is pertaining to the fact that when the company is following the laws and ethical
principle then this will make the working environment much better.
The above discussion stated that for not sharing information with others it is necessary to
sign the NDA that is non- disclosure agreement so that the information will not be shared
with others.
