Introduction
This report includes the discussion related to the two approaches related to the office automation
to their staff. MetaSoft is an organization in Australia and New Zealand that provides software-
related services. The organization has planned to compute the energy extensive components
using cloud technology with an intention to enhance the productivity of the organization. The
differences in IaaS, PaaS and SaaS will be analysed in this report. There are different problems
associated with the models, the issues associated with the suggested model is also presented
along with its solution measures that need to be implemented effectively for the handling of

preferred because of its high accessibility and scalability through which it provides

This report concludes that training existing staff is an appropriate office automation approach
that would amplify business benefits and reduce staff turn-over rate. The competencies improved
with the automated approaches would be beneficial for the organization as well as for the staffs
too. It has been suggested that MetaSoft should utilize SaaS service model for moving the
SharePoint to the cloud. It has been found that interoperability and accessibility help in reduction
of vendor lock-ins situations. This research report has covered the aspects that are related to the
transferring of IT infrastructure and resources of MetaSoft Ltd. to the cloud with intention to
reduce the complexities in managing the data. The enhanced scalability and accessibility would
be achieved through this action that might involve some risks related to security. For future
work, security aspects would be focused on implementing security techniques with intention to
reduce pitfalls of service models and amplify its effectiveness in business functions.
