AI Summary
This presentation discusses the benefits and issues of cloud computing for GTGOV, including accessing web-servers, types of cloud architecture, and moving to Office 365. It provides solutions and advice for the IT manager to address these issues. The presentation also covers the major differences between IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, and the likely problems that DTGOV may encounter with the suggested model.

INTRODUCTION
Cloud computing is defined as a network of remote servers which is mainly
hosted on internet in order to manage, store and process data.
It can also be considered as on demand availability of computer system resources
specially data storage and computing power without the direct and active
management of user.
This study will be based on the cloud computing of DTGOV which is a public
enterprise which is mainly introduced for the decentralisation of the IT operation to
public company.
The study will provide the solutions to various problems of company.

Accessing the workings of web-servers in
GTGOV and benefits of implementing
this server
GTGOV have chosen Infrastructure-as-a-service in order to start the cloud
computing provisioning initiatives. This service supports the highly scalable and
automated computer resource cloud infrastructure. It is a fully self service for
accessing and monitoring the things such as network storage and services which
allows GTGOV to purchase resource on demand.
However, AWS cloud environment is a comprehensive evolving cloud
computing platform provided by Amazon. It provides mix of different cloud
computing architecture. This type of server is typically provided to a client through a
dashboard or an API which allows the IAAS clients to have a complete control over
infrastructure. The users can still access the servers and storage directly. This is most
flexible cloud computing model which easily allow the automated deployment of
storage. Iaas is a great option in which GTGOV dont have to spend the money in
creating the software or hardware.

Types of Cloud architecture and also
determining the replacement of
current GTGOV infrastructure
GTGOV use this architecture as a part of web-servers because the enterprise
would take several benefits as AWS cloud platform provides the easily accessible
automated software that can be easily switched from one architecture to another
cloud computing model. However, current cloud computing architecture enables
the developers to hook in traffic splitting, monitoring and version control system.
Current issue also includes the runtime processing requirements of cloud
computing. GTGOV is Paas that There are various types of cloud computing
architecture that are described below:
Paas
This type of infrastructure provides the computing platform and stack as a
service. GTGOV uses AWS in order to test and deploy the data as Paas offers fully
configured sandbox and deployment environment. This is primarily used by the
developers in building software or applications.

Cont..
Saas
It offers more software to users over internet generally with subscription fee for a
month. This is usually hosted by the third party provider. It performs the scalable
operations along with the different tiers from small medium and enterprise level
business.
Raas
This prevents permanent or temporary loss of critical DTGOV data and also
prevents the loss of physical infrastructure. GTGOV can be benefited from this type of
cloud computing by improved efficiency and reduced cost.
Iaas
This is the lowest level of cloud solution which is referred to fully outsourced
service. It enables the pre-installed and configured hardware or software through
virtualised interface. It provides the accessibility to enterprise based IT resource and
infrastructure. It reduce the total cost and capital expenditure of GTGOV.

Benefits and issues that GTGOV users
achieve from moving to office 365 as
their automation suite
GTGOV operates three data centres which covers approximately 20000 square
feet with different hardware configuration. Moreover, the company is dealing with
various issues such as decreasing diversity of hardware platform, increased
investment and operational costs, customization requirements etc. one of the most
common issue arises is unnoticeable change may occur at the time of migrating the
data to office 365.
Choosing the cloud based office 365 automation suite will allow accessing and
edit the documents present online. One of the biggest advantage is ability to access
the data from anywhere via internet.

Most likely problems that DTGOV will
encounter with the suggested model.
Advices to the IT manager of GTGOV
to address such issues
Most common issues or problems faced by GTGOV are as follows:
Increased cost of maintaining hardware as well as software problems.
Customization requirements
Run time processing requirement
Pricing of GTGOV and Service level agreements of the company.
Existing regulations related to cloud technology
Document Page
Cont..
These issues can be addressed through the implementation of the AWS cloud based
environment which support Platform as a service, infrastructure as a service and
platform as a service. So this kind of cloud computing architecture will address all
such problems of existing web server infrastructure of GTGOV. Suggestions and
advices to address the problems are as follows:
Employing Infrastructure as a service will help in reducing the total cost.
Paas will handle all the upgrades and routine software maintenance which address
the problem of runtime processing. It will also simplify the deployment.
Employing Saas architecture within GTGOV will allow custom services and also
provide accessibility from any location.
Raas will allow the effective was of recovering lost data

CONCLUSION
It can be concluded that different cloud computing architecture helped in
effective deployment storage and retrieving of data.
This has helped in developing a readily available web services which can be
easily accessible at the time of peak demand.
This report has identifying the formulation of the Iaas instance in cloud
environment.
