Cloud computing is a highly popular emerging technology, which
provides various resources and services to their clients to manage their
various business services in a proper way as well as increases performance.
There is various innovation in cloud computing, which provides basic three
services to their clients, which are platform-as-a-service (PaaS),
Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), and Service-as-a-Service (SaaS).
This report will discuss the background of cloud computing and its role
in the innovations for different types of businesses. In addition, there is some
improvement in the accuracy and performance using cloud computing. This
report will discuss about the benefits and key issues in business. In this
report, case study analysis will complete on the cloud computing services in
Atlassian. Recommendations will provide in the later section of this report for
the company.
The research review on the ICT innovation
It is necessary to develop ethics in information and communication
technologies to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the processes. In
addition, there are some better changes in technologies to improve the
performance of business processes (Al-Saggaf, Burmeister, & Schwartz,
2017).
Most of the organizations have used information systems for managing
their business processes in a proper manner (Zhong & Rohde, 2014). In
addition, cloud computing has adopted in its business environment for
increasing business performance. Moreover, the migration process has
started in most of the organizations, which are already used information

many others (Baun, Kunze, Nimis, & Tai, 2011).
There are various methods for the security of data and information in
cloud computing. Moreover, there are some technical benefits of cloud
computing to a particular industry. Moreover, organizations can improve
their performance of work as well as take competitive advantages through
cloud computing (Bhagat, 2012).
Most of the business functions can manage using cloud-based services,
such as sales, marketing, and others (Casey, 2012). In addition, all the
systems are secured in cloud computing, which is more beneficial for the
organization. However, some issues have faced in cloud-based services to
improve the performance of the system (Chen & Zhao, 2012).
In a particular case, cloud computing provides various methods to
improve the profit and revenue of the system (Kshetri, 2013). In addition,
cloud computing makes huge impact on the processing of the services.
Therefore, computer systems must secure using many other things (Mather,
Kumaraswamy, & Latif, 2009).

industries, such as education, retails, medical, and many others. There are

provides services within a few minutes to their clients, as they demand
more servers and services.
2. Cost reduction: it reduces personal IT infrastructure cost for the company,
which is a huge challenge in front of the company.
3. High efficiency: cloud-based services provide a high level of efficiency in
their services, as it depends on the network services of the organizations
4. Reliability: cloud computing is fully secured from various types of threats
and risks. In addition, cloud-based services have secured using firewalls
and IDS systems.
5. Security gains: security and privacy is an important factor for the
company. In addition, there are some benefits (von konsky, Jones, &
Miller, 2014).
There are some risks in the cloud computing, which areas:
1. Network dependency: cloud-based services has based on the network
of the company. thus, high bandwidth is necessary for the
management of various services of cloud computing, such as
virtualization, and others
2. Difficulty in creating hybrid systems: cloud-based services have
initiated with a single point. Therefore, it is not easy to make a hybrid
system using cloud computing.
3. Centralization: the system is centralized in cloud computing, as most of
the services are providing by the vendor to the Client.
4. Data Integrity: there is some important factor of a business, which
makes more profit for the company. Integration is the best thing in the
software industry. Cloud-based services provide a high level of data
integrity.
5. Privacy and Security: cloud computing has used to advance cognitive
and cryptography algorithms for the security and privacy of data and

information. In addition, cloud-based services are more secure as
compared to other services.
There are some issues in cloud computing, but there are many benefits
of cloud computing, which help in the management of various processes. In
addition, the company has adopted cloud-based services to improve the
performance (Sen, 2014).
Case study analysis
Atlassian is a famous company in the software industry. It provides
various products and services to their clients. In addition, there are some
innovative approaches to the business and its benefits. In this case, software
development is depending on the platform, infrastructure, and services
(Stoffel, 2019). The company has provided online services to their clients to
develop their own software and manage all the functionality in a proper
manner. In addition, there are many good things in the company because of
ICT innovations (Serial, 2019).
Moreover, the company has provided its best quality in its services for
its clients in the whole world. The company is famous in the world because of
teamwork and time management (Pearson, 2013). There are various issues
in the implementation of various processes of the company. However, cloud
computing providers help to monitoring and management of the company
(Misuraca, Broster, & Centeno, 2012).

which all the customers can access their services in a proper way. In
addition, there are many good great facilities provided by the company using
various products, which has created to satisfy their customers, such as
HipChat, BitBucket, and many more (Kohler, 2013).
Furthermore, the company has developed its new data centers to
provide more services to its clients with a high level of security and privacy.
In addition, there is some trouble in team creation and management. Thus,
CEO of the company has managed its company using transformational
leadership (Carlson, 2017).
Atlassian has famous in the industry because of its timely services to
its clients and the teamwork of the company. The company has hired good
leaders to motivate their employees, which makes more energetic for their
work. There is some good impact of the cloud-based services to the clients of
the company.
Cloud computing is an emerging technology that provides various
advanced features in the business processes of an organization (Pal, 2018).
